One note when calculating the # of cards... Blaster box packs come with 5 cards when there is a Prizm in it. So you actually get more than 32 cards in each Blaster
Blasters also have the prizm refractors and the blue blaster exclusive as well. I'd say the blasters gave you more value. As long as you do get at least 1 auto
Blasters because im building a base set and need the extra cards, plus I like grabbing one when Im there already and easier to justify 35 bucks a time instead of 140
This set is fun. The blasters are fun. They were last year but as someone who sells on eBay, for me it’s hard to sell these cards we get excited about.
I have purchased 3 blaster boxes. I have pulled 2 autos (Pablo Lopez and Rollie Fingers) and several numbered cards to which one is a 1/1 gold card. As a new collector getting back into the game, what is the best method of researching their value and understanding what you have pulled and their significance?
I’ve purchased five blasters and pulled three autos. Today out of two blasters I pulled Raphael P auto to 99. Yesterday out of three blasters I pulled a Bobbie Witt auto unnumbered. In the second auto, he may have seen on Twitter, it was a Shohei Ohtani number to 10.
I think it’s great how Topps is giving more attention to retail this year so far (Bowman and This one). Some people can’t get to actual LCS so I like how people can still get good hits from Walmart and target. I’ve opened 5 blasters and have 2 autos so far. Have like 8 more to open so we shall see. Thanks for the video, Jabs!
Was the Cole Ragans in the first blaster a short print? I noticed he's in his Royals gear and in all the ones I've pulled so far he has his Rangers cap on.
For me personally I would say hobby because it’s a guaranteed auto where as if I pick up one blaster I most likely won’t pull one but could get lucky just my opinion. Great video once again Jabs love them!!
I think with the prism refractors in the blasters makes them a better buy. 1 auto, 5 numbered and numerous prism that you can’t pull from hobby.

random question, what is a breaker? everybody in topps's Instagram is saying stop posting breakers

Bought 1 blaster for my grandson he pulled a Tristan Casas auto

I picked up a few blasters today and left the mega's behind. Hoping to find at least one auto. We will see.
I got two blasters from Target yesterday and pulled 2 rookie autos along with a Tatis Red Prism which is 1:800 packs and 3 numbered cards.

5 blasters, no autos for me. But the numbered cards more than made up for it.
You think you could price match target at Walmart?
My blaster box was terrible
Sadly in this new junk wax area all base cards are worthless. The only things that matter are autos and some numbered cards.
I’ll say blasters win if you want to put a set together, as you have 32 more cards.

Blasters at my local Meijer are $37.99
Wayyy too high!
The auto was numbered too tho
I like Blasters myself.
This will be a good one
Pretty sure Walmart price matches. So maybe bring proof that Target has cheaper blasters!
I think it’s a tie
Great video ounce again
My hobby’s were way better than the blasters I bought by far
Nice!
Tie
probably the hobby, because i know if i bought 4 blasters, i would NOT hit an auto lol smh.
Wow the silver packs are order in random hobby boxes? I lucked out with a Gunnar SP + Ichiro SP in one of those!
Both are great when Jabs Family is opening them.
I like the hobby better than blaster boxes. Only because there’s fewer letters when spelling. Petty? I know. Just how I thought about it.
