Wish I could randomly walk into different places in my house and just find random boxes of packs laying around like jabs does . Every time he walks into his garage he finds the most random bags or boxes of cards he forgot about
I started collecting cards in 1988, I was 12 and Donruss was my favorite cards to open with the Stan Musial Puzzel pieces. Those were the days. Every once in a while, I'll buy some junk wax to remember opening cards with my Grandfather, he was a huge Cardinals fan. It's funny how times flies, but the cool memories stay with you forever.
Same here. Same time. Just found the puzzle pieces in a shoebox. Musial, i think they did stargell or clemente, hank, i forget..idk if i ever finished one..rainy day projects! 👍
Those Fleer stickers stuck a lot better in my experience, had a 1987 Indians sticker on a chest of drawers that stayed on there until 2020, when I finally parted with the chest of drawers and removed that sticker, a couple Jimi Hendrix stickers from the 90s, and a Jackson 5 sticker from 1983 that my older brother put on there. I removed that and put it on the case of my bass guitar, one of the Hendrix stickers survived that process as well.
I consider it a victory if I can just make it back to my house without opening boxes I just bought but what usually happens is they get ripped right in the parking lot or I rip them while I'm driving home.
Jabs better pray that none of his kiddos do actually get big into cards! He come home one day and find that all the packs that just linger in the back of hall closet will have mysteriously disappeared and someone’s collection just doubled in size! 😝😜
There’s a big market for sealed packs with top rookies/players showing on the front and or back. Psa grades them and will also label it with what player is showing.
Instead of unopened packs I find random rookie cards that I forgot about mostly prospects today I found a Paul Skenes with a bunch of other USA baseball prospects!
If I lived in a house with all of these packs, they’d all be open in a day. Your will power is amazing lol.
They would've never made it into a box 😂
After a while, you get less enthusiastic about opening packs. I have about 500+ packs sitting in storage 1987-2023 lol
Or ge got the hit then stopped. One hit per box keep or sell the rest. Griffey rc cello pack he knew what he had.

I'm going to start putting all my factory sealed packs in a box and try to forget for a year or two. Super cool rip!

good call keeping the Griffey sealed....its a rare item and who knows maybe the ripken is in there too!
Good call keeping that printer cartridge unboxed and mint

You would think you'd find a little more value with those packs..although I do think the Stantons will jump in value. Ichiro still underpriced.
Get the 89 pack with the Griffey on the pack graded.
Love these Jabs Greatest packs chase.. My fave was that Mantle
Awesome! Fun stuff. Thx Jabs
Holy Smokes!!!
I'm going to make popcorn for this one!!

Good decision not ripping that pack with Junior in it.
