I can't begin to express how much I had a crush on Legolas during my LOTR phase. Like, I loved him so much that I'd binge all his scenes on TH-cam, maniacally strain my eyes on every dialogue he had in the books, and scream whenever he OWNED a scene in the movies.
I was obsessed, literally to the point that when my brother made a birthday card for me, he plastered loads of Leggy pictures and memes on it. That was how obvious it was 🤣🤣

I've just gotten back into writing after a year without it and girl you've inspired me so much, one of my favorite channels on yt. Last time I tried to write historical fiction, the research felt really tedious and boring, but I finally have a subject that I like to read and write about (the civil war) and I'm letting myself be creative with the characters, who are almost all real people. Not sure if I'll ever be able to publish it because it contains a lot of controversial figures, but I'm having fun. Also I've essentially created entirely new characters that just happen to share names with historical figures, and there's a lot of weird fantasy elements. Now I'm just wondering how authors 200 years ago planned their books.
