I am now buying the same 1990, but original french one ( I am french and live in France). 298 000 original km, 186250 mi, in very nice shape, well maintened, also with rear power seat, and many other options, that is very rare in France for a 735.
Nice car, thanks for showing it! I had no idea the 735iL could be had with power rear seats, I thought it was limited to the 750iL only. Pretty cool and must be rare on a 735. It looks like the car was well maintained, awesome find. Not sure about the moisture in the trunk... maybe check if the seal around the fuel pump access cover is OK, you can remove a few bolts to look. Otherwise I'd do a visual inspection on the trunk seals/weatherstripping. Also it looks like your cruise control cable is damaged. Not a big deal if you don't use the option, but if you want it a new cable can be ordered.
Very well maintained car, the interior is so 90's.
