Jay, just watched your video which was great as always. When I did mine last weekend my instructions said to install an earth loop from the 240v inlet to the body. Did yours not require this?
Hey mate. No I don’t know about that. My consumer unit is earthed though. I have asked the company I brought the set up off but they have not got back to me yet.
Nice neat job with the mains socket. Have been thinking about where to locate mine. I was going to fit it behind the plastic panel below rear light on a tailgate model. Problem with that is finding good quality stainless hinges and bonding on to the plastic panel. This idea is looking a bit easier cheers
Thank you mate. To be honest I would of done it there if I had tailgate as I think it’s a cool place. But you are correct you definitely need to get some good quality parts and really take your time as I would want to panel to line back up when closed like factory and so look nice. But I have seen some really poor once to be honest. Behind the bumper is a fairly simple and easy job I feel
Nice job. Only question I have is, as you have been using it now, has the 240v socket been damaged in anyway as it seems that it is near the exhaust gases from the rear of the exhaust?
Thanks matey. Should be two uploads a week again now one on a Thursday and one on Sunday but sometimes I miss the Thursday one 😆. Thanks for the support though very appreciated
Another cracking video and well explained, love the idea with the garden hose spot on 👍
Thank you Mark. Very much appreciated matey

Hey Keith. To be truly honest mate mine is still in perfect condition. I have not used the van as much as most may have but still used it a fair bit.
Alright Gromit! 😁🐶😆🤣. But seriously well done again for another great informative video.😊👍

Whst size p clips did you use please
Hi mate where did u get 4 way stretch please
Hey. I made a carpet fitting video. All the links and information are on that one
I would lije to hide my 240 hook up in my ford transit van is this possible like underneath the bumper
Hi mate. Yes definitely. As long as you run the cables to where you need them and install it secure and well you can mount where you like
@@JaysFabShop so guess I would have to take the bumper out to and cut a hole for the 240 v frame
TIDY JOB MATE
Thank you matey 🙏🙏
Cool! Where did you buy that inlet?
Rayne automotive matey
