DROPTIC® field mountable connectors by Telenco networks have been designed for fiber optic terminations and particularly for FTTH connections. They are quick to install: it takes between one and two minutes, based on the mechanical splicing principle. It is also easy to install because it does not require gluing, heating or polishing.
In summary, DROPTIC® field-mountable connectors have various characteristics:
✔️ Allows for quick and easy connection
✔️ Gluing, heating and polishing are not required
✔️ Insertion and reflectance losses are limited
✔️ Connectors are compatible with both round and flat cables
✔️ Available in different versions: 250 µm, 900 µm, 2 mm and 3 mm
✔️ Available connectors: SC/APC, SC/UPC, SC/PC
