First of all it's called Tafsir, which basically means explanation. The Quran majority of it is self explanatory. You don't really need Tafsir for that. For example, when the Quran says, don't gamble, don't drink alcohol, don't eat pork and etc. Do you not understand that? Do you need tafsir for that? Tafsir is more about related to if you want to educate yourself about in what context was it revealed and what is the method by which we should do something that the Quran is telling us to do. i am a muslim and i speak the truth even against my own religion . i have noticed translations changing again and again since i was a child the two clear ones i remember are 1)the quran use to say allah was the greatest of deceivers . in newer translations it has been changed to plotters or schemers 2) the quran use to say the moon a light and newer translations changed it to the moon a reflected light . there are probably more i am unware of this is why i no longer trust translations of the quran anymore as few are willing to translate the truth .
But brother we still have the original Coran in Arabic, we can always go back to the original and get the true meanings. How about the Bible? They don't have the original language, they tell you the new testament was written in Greek some 40-90 years after Jesus, by people who never saw him. One of the difficulties with many humans is they are trying to work out God through their limited understanding. I can understand that tbh because that's all we've got. However, you have to have Faith to believe or God has to reveal himself to you i.e. open up your understanding. The thing is if you have a faith blocker, the only way you can really know the truth is open your heart to receive the revelation otherwise God will not reveal it. He said he 'knocks' on the door of our hearts he doesn't barge and force it down you. It's for us to let him in. i wish more Christian apologists/Islamic polemicists would talk about the real world logistics that would be needed in order to corrupt _thousands_ upon _thousands_ of handwritten NT manuscripts, written in dozens of different languages, dispersed all throughout the known world, all the while making sure that the changes being made are consistent w/ one another (keep in mind, each manuscript would require hundreds, if not thousands of massive changes to Scripture in order to harmonize it w/ the Quran). how many people would such a task require, what resources would they need, who financed the operation, who decided what the "corrupted" text would ultimately say, and how long would all of this take? and how could they know if they changed every single manuscript (had they missed any, surely our archeologists would've found at least a single fragment of this _mythical_ "uncorrupted/original Injeel")? and why didn't anyone notice that changes had been made? it's a ridiculous, childish, lazy argument that Christians have entertained for far too long! if Muslims are going to claim "Biblical corruption," at least push for them to explain how that could've happened!

It also says that the Quran is for the MUSLIMS only, and that each community to which Allah supposedly gave these scriptures to should follow their OWN scriptures, and not the Quran. So, historically and archaeologically, what scriptures did the Jews and Christians have at the time of Muhammad? Tell me.
2. Neither 2:75 or 5:13 confirm that the scriptures at the time of Jesus or Muhammad were corrupted. One of the difficulties with many humans is they are trying to work out God through their limited understanding. I can understand that tbh because that's all we've got.
However, you have to have Faith to believe or God has to reveal himself to you i.e. open up your understanding.
The thing is if you have a faith blocker, the only way you can really know the truth is open your heart to receive the revelation otherwise God will not reveal it. He said he 'knocks' on the door of our hearts he doesn't barge and force it down you. It's for us to let him in.
But it can be very difficult for people to do that if they believe they already know the true God. You've got to be able to take a step back from all your beliefs and almost forget about everything you know to be true and then reach out as a completely blank canvas and ask for the true God to reveal himself.
