      And their presentation is like no other. The format of the interviews allows for whacky shit to always make the cut. These guys are what good journalism is all about, telling a story that has meaning, a story that matters. Its the type of story that has you laughing and then it makes you think. Of course, up until now most of their coverage has been more jokey like the flat earth con, area 51 raid, talladega. But i'm thinking more about what it could be in the future. For sure we need more oversight over the police I think every state should have an ethics committee that looks at the footage of every police shooting. It should be comprised of ethics professionals/ lawyers and ex police with good records who get community awards. Also police should get paid more and should have a higher standard for shooting. Like it sounds callous but policing should be a riskier job. Thats not too much to ask considering that being a taxi driver is more dangerous and they get paid less. But it's ironic that we wont see real institutional change or real justice take for example take rashard brooks the officer was literally following the policing handbook if someone points a taser at them you escalate the altercation and shoot them. He will go to jail for following that handbook sadly. And the worst part is they arent gonna change the rules.

    Literally the most scared I have ever been for my life was when I was in a holding cell getting the shit beat out of me by the two arresting officers. I was pulled over at a bus stop because they mistook me for some other brown dude and when they knew they made the mistake, I threatened to report them and sue. I ended up getting charged for "jay-walking" and then they eventually dropped the charges. People have a reason to be afraid of the police.

      I believe you. There's been countless videos of police brutality out there. And those are the incidents that get filmed and posted. Shit. They was (still is?) a literal white supremacist gang operating out of an LA sheriff's department. Lynnwood Vikings. Racism and property, that is what the police protect. Rich owners convinced the public to fund their security and the very people that will suppress their rights. The same people protecting the police will say how you need a gun for protection because you're stupid if you think the police will arrive in time. They fucking know police are useless. If you still sticking up for them after Uvalde then you always will until they finally put their knee on your neck or shoot you.

    Andrew, I know this is well past the videos release and you probably wont see this, but. You are quite literally the new age reform that news media/journalism desperately needed. Being able to go the the wackiest of conventions, rallies, and events and present peak realism comedy by just allowing anyone to talk and or freestyle rap. To then attending massive gatherings, protests, and demonstrations following much more serious subjects and just listening to what the people have to say. It speaks volumes to your viewers I think, the show is hilarious at times but overall damn impressive to watch. Glad you have more creative control and are thriving with it.

Based on your argument, children and the elderly don't have societal value, hell they're more of a drain on society than Dante was because they don't contribute to the economy and can't work, both of which are things that Dante did. Why don't we kill them? We don't base whether or not a person lives or dies on their value to society. The argument should be that law enforcement should be such a strict and regulated profession that mistakes like this, virtually never occur. The problem isn't with the victim's value, it's with the horrible judgment and lack of skill presented by our law enforcement

    • @colatf2
      @colatf2 3 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Sure I enjoy some friendly banter. I’d argue that a violent crook and a thief have less societal value than a child or an elderly person. Children are the start of the cycle of life. Without them, there would be no society. An elderly person likely has lived their whole life contributing to society in one way or another. We reward them with our ears and our hearts. They have lived longer than us and may have wisdom on experiences we are unfamiliar with. The elderly are treated with respect because they earned that respect. I do believe that the death of any American citizen, even a criminal like Wright, is unjustified and undignified. It should be treated like a plane crash, not a car crash, so that it may never happen again. Planes are very safe and any interaction with an officer should be too. I’d rather have a better chance of getting mauled to death by a lawnmower than shot to death by a police officer.

They're a pure burden on our healthcare system. As well as truck drivers, cashiers, and other people whose jobs will be automated in the next 10 years. Lets also be honest, the majority of elderly people hold society back. They only offer their life experiences as positive value, while simultaneously draining our healthcare system, economy, workplaces, and our government. Imagine if we put age limits on our government positions, we would be in a much better place right now. I see how you look down on people who commit crimes as inferior beings, how you will brand those for life as scum, without giving them any possibility to rehabilitate.
