Guys when you make any kind of candle holder make sure it’s fire safe and the receiver knows to set it on an appropriate surface and handle it with care. For example I would guess candle in a metal holder will get hotter on the outside than a candle in a ceramic/glass holder. I rarely see anything other than tea lights being sold in a metal container but maybe it’s just where I live 🤷♀️ Also some polymer materials may be more flammable than others.
yes!! definitely check the package and make sure that the clay is non-toxic AND fire safe if using for candle holders and you can buy the metal inserts to hold the bottom of a tapered candle and you can put that in the candle holder. Also if you're painting make sure that the paint is non toxic and flammable. with tapered candles the open flame wont spend too much time near the clay but if you're really worried you could mark on the candle where the person should replace it so the flame never gets too close to the holder! like with all candle safety, make sure it's supervised at all times! and if youre REALLY REALLY worried, just buy them a pair of LED tapered candles :) no flame no problem
these ideas are actually sooo good, and i love how you talk through each one
thank you for watching!
You can:
1. buy a good quality natural berry soap and make a little pouch for it,out of fabric or yarn, they can put it in the closet and it smells sooo good.
2.sew a apron for a baking/cooking friend
3.crochet a flower bouquet,for their home decoration,there a tutorials on youtube
4.sew a little beginner bag for them
5. Crochet a crochet hook holder for someone that crochets
6.make marmelade or food that holds itself longer
Love all of these ideas 😍

I’m making homemade candles in little decorative jam jars and hand embroidered ornaments and I’m honestly so excited for it. It’ll be so cute
I love that!! ornaments are so special especially when they’re handmade :)
One if my go to's: lavender pouches, i like to knit them but you can also sew or crochet
wait I loveeeee this idea (for myself in particular 😂) where do u get the lavender from
I love the idea about the Christmas tree skirt! I’m gonna try to make one before Christmas!
yay you should!! good luck
Love the gift ideas! The teacup candles are adorable and so are the granny square pillows! :)
thanks for watching!! let me know if you make them I would love to hear how it goes if you do!
Love all these ideas!!! I really wanted to make my family Christmas stockings but I overestimated my abilities 😂 going to try to make them tiny ornament ones instead if I have time lol. Definitely want vlogmas!!!!
oop I think I only have enough patience to make a stocking for myself but the ornaments will be fun to make for friends and family! vlogmas is coming :) thanks for watching!
This is SUCH a great list!! Loads of ideas, I make all my gifts so new ideas gratefully received 😊 thank you! ❤
It’s so good to see you and I love this video! You look so happy :) HUGS!
I miss you lots and hope we cross paths very soon 🤍 sending love!
Aaaah, I am so excited about the ideas you had!! Definitely gonna put some dried orange ornament with my Christmas cards!
that’s such a good idea! I want to watercolor paint some christmas cards this year but I don’t know if I’m being overly ambitious or not 😅
i love ur videos so much!!! you use texture and color in a really beautiful way and ur ideas are quite sustainable. i like to embroider designs onto patches (or even pieces of old denim) and then use the patches to decorate crochet or knit pieces for a really interesting and unique texture combination. congrats on 15k! 🎉
I listened to some of your covers on your channel and you have a lovely presence. Turned me on to some new music. (I was hoping to see an example of what you described here lol!) take care!
Thank you so much this is so sweet
this video made me realise I really have to start now if I want to make handmade gifts for everyone!! thank you so much I feel super inspired rn
no because same 😭 we’re in this together!!
love your ideas!!! super original, quick, fun :-) 💖
i’m so glad u enjoyed 🤍
I have been wanting to make a Christmas tree skirt but don't think I have the patience for that 😂 Love the video!
I agree, it's gonna be a "maybe next year" idea for me unless I can sew one from an existing quilt haha thanks for watching!
You're welcome! @@minigru.studios
Really excited for a mitten tutorial!
would love to see you making these things!
UUUGHHH THEY ARE ALL SO CUTEE
Kait... can you offer a tutorial on granny square throw to include # of skeins needed for a typical size..
“Decorative pickling jars” isn’t an Etsy rabbit hole I thought I’d be going down today, yet here we are
love that for you… let me know if u find anything good hehe
you are so cute thank you for the ideas
thank you for watching love
Love vlogmas!
This was such a great list! Thank you
Remember, you don’t need a dining table just cause that’s expected. If your coffee serves you well, feel free to treat it like a dining table. You can even make coffee themed place mats to be cheeky
I like that idea very much :) was thinking of making some nice floor pillows because I tend to sit on the floor when I eat haha
GIRL show us how to make them
There's a couple DIYS in my next video
Papier is actually a German word :) its pronounced puh-pia/ puh-pier. Thanks for putting them on the map for me! Also, a friend of mine is soon moving into her own apartment and she loves tea and I think I might buy her a cute tea-can, crochet a cute holder and get some high-quality tea 😊 thanks for inspiring me!
ooooo good to know! they're my fav I love their stuff so much! and that's such a great gift!! I always love receiving tea because it helps me try new things! :) I'm sure she'll love it! Thanks for watching!
Also a French word, pah-pee-ay
Do you have a link for the cute dried orange ornaments a cute little stars, please? I would really appreciate it. Thank you ❤❤❤
I dont have a specific link but I made them in an upcoming video so all the info will be in that video!
I wonder if orange slices would keep my cats out of the tree? 🤔
That is smart!! I think cats arent the biggest fan of citrus? but I dont have a cat so I'm not sure. they usually have a mind of their own haha update me if that works or not!
👏👏👏👏👏
Does anyone know what kinds of clays are fire safe, and if pottery glaze is fire safe
Intro seemed to sim to someone else 🤔
i really loved all these ideas, i'll be definitely making some things. i always gift my friends more elaborate christmas cookies, because they all dont like baking. my favourite ones are schwarzwälderkirsch plätzchen (german ones), i love them. speaking of german, the brand of journals is a german word (which means paper, surprise surprise). it is pronounced like this: paˈpiːɐ̯
I loveeee that idea! I'm not a huge baker but I want to be so thanks for sharing the german cookies with me! :) I'm sure the people in your life appreciate you very much for all the sweets! and amazing good to know, I studied a bit of german before I travelled there but have since lost a lot of vocab. Need to get back on it hehe thanks for watching
