    Don't buy, end of year is here and builders are lowering prices to get these homes of their balance sheets. More price cuts to come people. Hold strong and the market will force them to reduce prices more. I don't care if it's cheaper for you compared to out of state. We live in Houston and we are not used to these high prices.

      You bring up a valid point! The market is definitely seeing price adjustments as builders work to move inventory. It's true that waiting could mean better deals, especially as we head into the new year. We understand that Katy's and Houston’s markets are unique, and it’s important to keep an eye on how prices shift. Do you think the market will stabilize soon, or are you expecting more reductions in the coming months?

    Wow!! You need to make $250k to be able to afford the payments

    • @Ea-n7x
      @Ea-n7x หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      You need to make more then $250k. Trust me. Payments on this house will be over $4000+. You need to make easy more money to afford even the smallest house.

    I can’t believe this is the same highland homes that builds houses in Florida. The models they build here are so depressing compared to what they build in Texas

    • @houstontexasliving33
      @houstontexasliving33  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I can see how you feel! It’s interesting how builders adapt their designs to different markets. Highland Homes in Texas tends to focus on more open layouts and larger spaces, which can feel very different from their models in Florida. If you’ve got a specific style or feature in mind, we could definitely help you find a home in Texas that matches what you're looking for!

      @houstontexasliving33  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, some of these communities have homes that are closer together, but you're right-the beauty of the homes and the sense of community make up for it! In areas like Katy, many homes are designed with great curb appeal and modern features, even in tighter layouts. What do you think-are you more into spacious lots or are you drawn to the beautiful designs in these more compact communities?

    What’s the name of the taco truck and do they appear in the bridgeland

    • @houstontexasliving33
      @houstontexasliving33  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Great question! The taco truck you’re referring to is probably one of the local favorites that pop up in Bridgeland from time to time. While there isn’t a permanent taco truck in the neighborhood, there are often food trucks that come around during events or community gatherings. Bridgeland is known for hosting fun community events, and food trucks are a regular part of those! If you’re ever in the area, it’s definitely worth checking out for some tasty bites!

      Elyson is such a great community! 😄 There are actually several beautiful trails in the neighborhood that offer scenic views and a great outdoor experience. Elyson has around 10 miles of trails, perfect for walking, running, or biking. It's definitely one of the features that makes the community so special. Are you interested in seeing more of Elyson’s amenities, or perhaps a tour of a specific home in the area?

    I don’t understand why the streets are narrow in subdivisions. Great looking homes but guests gotta park on narrow streets

    • @houstontexasliving33
      @houstontexasliving33  หลายเดือนก่อน

      That’s a great observation! Many newer subdivisions, especially in highly sought-after areas, do tend to have narrower streets to maximize space for homes and community amenities. While it can make parking for guests a bit challenging, the design is often intended to create a more intimate, walkable neighborhood feel. However, we totally understand how that can be an inconvenience. If you’re looking for a neighborhood with wider streets or more guest parking, we’d be happy to help you find the perfect spot!

    • @houstontexasliving33
      @houstontexasliving33  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Haha, we hear you! HOA fees can definitely be a dealbreaker for some. In the Houston and Katy area, HOA fees vary depending on the neighborhood, but they typically range from around $100 to $500+ per year, with some higher-end communities having fees for additional amenities. If you’re looking for a community with low or no HOA fees, we’d be happy to help you find options that fit your budget and preferences!

      I can see where you’re coming from-both Florida and Texas have been experiencing rapid growth, and that can lead to varying impacts on property values. Texas, especially Houston, has its ups and downs with the market, but it also offers some fantastic opportunities for buyers, with diverse options depending on your budget and needs. It’s all about finding the right area and timing. If you’re considering moving or investing in the area, we’d be happy to help you navigate it!
