I felt like I could easily travel there on my own! I would look up if there s any areas you should avoid, but other than that I would feel pretty safe if i was traveling solo
Been camping in Vianden and visited Lux city on my way home from vacation in France. I liked it a lot and prices were (2005) pretty good,though not cheap.
Hi from "the other Luxembourg", i.e. the Belgian province of Luxembourg. As I only live a 20-minute drive to the Grand-Duchy I frequently cross its border, mostly for shopping and refueling. Except for housing which is really expensive and some services, prices there are about the same as in Belgium for everyday stuff (food, clothes...). Fuel and alochol are cheaper (I have not filled in my car or bought a bottle of booze in Belgium for years). Tobacco as well but, as I don't smoke...
@@jfrancobelge Hello neighbour (Limburg NL here). As for shopping I do not know but I was referring to restaurant prices. Fantastic little country one should visit for a few days at least. Do not live at proximity as you do. And as for language...In Luxembourg fair chance they speak (or at least understand) French, German, Dutch and English and Luxemburgish...and Islandic (joke).

What i liked: views, free public transport, pigions, russian store and some building were nice looking. What i didn't like: the prices, i was expecting more from the city center and fountains are meh :D
Also public transport only works ok in city center along the tram line. Super slow everywhere else! Good luck waiting 30 mins then change and wait another 30, just to go 5km!
