A little hack would be to get a tarp and put all the fireworks that you're going to light off, on top of a tarp so all you have to do is roll up the tarp and throw it away when you're done so then there isn't that much of a mess left.

My neighbors puts out an amazing display every year. All I have to do is walk outside to my front yard and set up a chair and get some sound damping head phones and the explosions are literally right there. The fourth and new years are awesome.
