I watch nothing but videos about homes, houses, new builds, old builds, renovations, refurbishments, etc. etc. and I spend most of that time bemoaning the fact that people live in these amazing structures WITH NO ART ON THE WALLS, without a clue that their walls are naked and their homes are STERILE. So, to see a house that has been loved up and down the way this one has been, showered with affection, draped in history, and alive with stories.... is a JOY! I LOVE collections of things on walls, and I have a special affection for TOOLS!!! They are marvelous. They hold the rich and satisfied energy of the men and women who have CREATED masterpieces... This was just wonderful. Thank you!
I enjoyed taking a tour with this extraordinary man so very much! I particularly admire the use of quotidian items like the coal transport cart, cogs, garden tools, and even a piece of woolen child's clothing, to enrich the energy and keep it down to earth. There is so much to learn from his obvious joy in sharing his space with others and making it all good fun!
A lovely, lovely home by clearly a very gifted interior designer. What stood out for me was the sense of family Mr. Thomas deeply believes in and honours! Bravo!!
Wow... what an incredible home. The green tortoise record room is probably the most unique use of space I have seen. But that sun room is jaw dropping gorgeous!!! That view, the sky, the boats, the water, the decor ... everything is perfect. I can see how wonderful it would be through the seasons. Love Tia Sophia and her scandalous travels ! How fun. The custom fireplace in the porch room is beyond belief! I also, find old hand and garden tools intrinsically beautiful. They are works of art on their own , and displayed beautifully here. To see someone loving their home this much is heart warming.
Generational wealth! Very hard to do today (thanks to our greedy corporatocracy) but this is the thing to fight for, to buy and build something you can pass down, so the next generations have a solid and elevated space to build upon!
Such a lovely and warm home. I love your choice of fabrics. Can you share the source of the green large floral on the living room chairs and the large pheasant on the throw pillows. It would be much appreciated

Artsy, Collector! Always live in what you love. The only way to complete, your happiness ❤

Yes, that’s all fine and dandy, but how many leopards were killed to make that carpet ?
none 🩷
Nothing to be exited about😅 home like average. I would never think done by designer, definitely some old lady style and fashion
