    We don't have permit around the Chesapeake Bay but it would be fun to get into fly rods for redfish and trout. Maybe flounder too. The problem is that it would be blind mostly, it's tough to see fish here while it's hot. It's not clear enough.
    What weight rod do I need for trout and slot redfish?

      Hey @comfortablynumb9342 an 8 wt rod would be a great option and give you enough versatility for other species too.
