    Nice! Just got the same bike. Same color and year. First bike 😊 but no manual. Any other tricks? Can you make a vid on the quick shifter? Mine seems to be set up funny, and the linkage is bent

    Thank you for the video Anthony. I am about to get mine soon and was wonder what is a good number to set it too? Do you recommend 6 or you just picked 6 for the sake of the video?

    So ive been riding cruisers for a couple years and just got my first zx6r a couple weeks ago, I have been shifting at about 6000rpm but was just curious is there a right and wrong rpm range to shift? based off this video it sounds like its fine to shift at any rpm. I've always just tried to go off the sound but is there like an average rpm range to shift for each gear?

      @chadrichards8930 ปีที่แล้ว

      why shift at 6k? I mean you dont have to rev it high if you're just driving slow but if you want to haul ass you need to shift at 14,750 rpm

      @@chadrichards8930 manual for break-in period says not to go over 6000rpm for x amount of miles then after that dont go over 8000rpm for another x amount of miles, I was just going off of that but from what I understand from others in other zx6r groups Kawi puts that in the manual that low to cover their asses basically.

    Here's the question Anthony. Cause I noticed when the quick shifter is on, the sweet spot coming out of first is at about seven thousand rpm's but coming out of second gear into third the sweet spot is exactly 6 thousand rpm's. Anything less coming out of first and it's not a very smooth transition. So my question is can you put it in 1st set the shift indicator light for 7 then put it in 2nd and set the indicator for 6 thousand rpm's.?? If you cannot then I think that is a fatal flaw that someone should tell Kawasaki about. I don't understand why each gear has to have the same indicator light at the same rpm's.

      That would be great lol, but definitely not. We should email them. Thats what I wondered when I first started messing with it.

      Well have you tried? After watching your video I went straight outside and set mine, and I've had my bike for over a year and knew about it just never knew how to do it. Then I realized I did it in neutral. So imma go back out and set it in first then second and so on and see if anything changes......I'll be right back.
