There were many different play style the game would allow you to try. Now some of the objectives weren’t that great but others were really fun. honestly played about 10 mins of this map when I first got Vanguard and left and not played since
It makes me a bit upset when people compare cold war outbreak to der anfang. First of all outbreak tried to be a fun mode with personality and I think it succeeded. Outbreak is at least a fun world exploration style of zombies map with different zombie engagements than any other zombies maps. It’s honestly cool sniping zombies from far away before they see you and then having to worry about whether nearby zombies heard you or not. There were many different play style the game would allow you to try. Now some of the objectives weren’t that great but others were really fun. The outbreak map had many different mini objectives for you to do while having nice looking sight lines over the map.
Now looking back at vanguard. Well … it doesn’t have any of that. It’s the most linear, content lacking gamemode in all of zombies. The only similarity outbreak and vanguard has is that they both have objectives to pass the rounds, but outbreak at least had a fleshed out world that gave the objectives purpose.
Yeah I hated outbreak at first but then I played it more and it was really fun
@@RealCorndog yeah I like how open ended the gameplay is. You can really do whatever you want where other maps have limited gameplay options. Not that it’s better but a change is nice
I havent bought vanguard and I wont. That's saying something when i have bought every call of duty since black ops 1, unless the 14 year old me couldnt afford it. Rough days
I’ve been a die hard zombies fan since 2013 when I started playing bo2, after I went back and played bo1 and waw and they’re awesome and since I’ve gotten every cod and I love them all, even bo4 was good even though it wasn’t as good as bo3 or the previous ones, but I bought vanguard when it came out and I haven’t even played it yet
