I'm in love with this channel and learning how different foods are sometimes in various places and cultures. I love that most use an entire animal as much as possible. Don't be shy, try new things. Thank you and hello from Scotland x
I’ve been watching this channel all night and now I’m way too early to a video😂❤ love this show I could never try any food that Sonny tries😂 but i love this show
This channel is more than just a food review. Talk of culture and diversity. @UNESCO should give you an award. Btw I made my first PHO thanks to you, Sonny. Other than Argentina, I think Asia (Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam, and Thailand) offers the best dishes in the world. 🇰🇪
Since the year started i have watched every single episode of Sonny,,,cheers 🎉from Nairobi Kenya 🇰🇪,,I guess am one of the most loyal kenyans following you, happy new year 2025 😂
@13:09 I take that 1 star rating personally as a serious offense. Fried duck beak, even though already very good by itself, is one of the best beer snack dish ever created.
I said this last video and I'm going to say it this video this is such a wonderful series for you to do I really hope you continue to do it throughout other countries that you travel at because not many people rate or have experience with the worst rated food throughout the world I mean people do it in America or their own country but rarely throughout the world I think it's just fascinating and I hope that we can get another series just like this in the future
Rotten duck egg omelette is common in Laguna Philippines. It’s being sold as street food and I’ve tried it and it’s delicious! Specially if you sprinkle it with vinegar, onion, garlic mixture or dip.
I assume bc salmonella exists on an egg whether it is rotten or fresh and requires a specific temperature to be eliminated it would not make much of a difference to eat a rotten or fresh egg as long as it is well cooked
macarooni salad is one of my fave dessert.❤😋 by the way, you ate the fermented oyster in a wrong way, because its only an appetizer, you put it in a small bowl put some kalamansi or vinegar and chilli .
the fermented shrimp in Vietnam is similar to the fermented fish condiment in the PH called bagoong isda. The preparation as a dipping sauce is the same but without sugar, or u can replace calamansi with vinegar.
I’m convinced people vote against these foods because of their origin. Let’s get more adventurous- but I’m with Mark about the big blobs of Mayonnaise… The only thing that dismays me terribly is the prevalence of single use plastics. No environmentally friendly options used. Seems a shame.
in our place the little oyster should be drained and washed then place it in a small bowl with lots of kalamansi and chilli if yiu want it spicy.. thats why it was so salty cause you included the liquid on the rice.. 😁
Bone marrow soup is common in the Philippines. You have to be careful because it’s high in cholesterol. The burnt coconut mixture from Tausug tribe I must say I have to try because it looks delicious and haven’t been introduced to it. Not so many food from the southern part of the Philippines are popular in Manila. I live in Manila, so bring it on and let us try all of it.
spoiler: 2 folks of the panel like/love literally every food...rarely, one person doesn't like it. this is the asian food weeb channel. Chef could shit in his plate and Sonny would be like: "its very earthy".

Wow now have you’ve tried bitter fish poop soup, my parents love eating it and making it lols
You need to collaborate with Bear Grylls on the worst food series. Please!
Make it happen
bile usually put in papaitan(ilocano dish) in the philippines it makes papaitan mapait taste!!!
Happy new year Sonny
@BestEverFoodReviewShow
Sonny you should try burong kanin (Fermented Rice) one of the extreme delicacy of the Philippines
Sonny’s face 2:22 when Calvin said he loves bile🥴 I know I was thinking the same thing!!😂
happy new years🎉🎉Sonny
the fermented shrimp in Vietnam is similar to the fermented fish condiment in the PH called bagoong isda. The preparation as a dipping sauce is the same but without sugar, or u can replace calamansi with vinegar.

Calvin the best guest by a mile
1:07:15 raw pork fermented sausages are a favorite for us Laotian! Happy Laotian American. It’s great pan fried really quick
Should put that under the microscope.

Perfect taste for new year! Has a "BOOOOMMM" taste😂😂😂
here in PH we make them into a meat ball a like mix w/ banana hearth, flour, egg better than meat balls
Meat in gelatin is the worst rated food? It's pretty standard in Eastern Europe
Yikes. You guys have supremely sophisticated palates. Happy New Year.
As a Fiipino, honestly I've never heard of rotten egg omelet until this and so that doesn't make it a staple.
Even though Sonny speaks with the TikTok accent when doing the voiceovers, I still love him nonetheless and the show.
The chef in the Philippines when talking about the tausug speaks like a miss universe candidate😅
جولة جميلة جدا شكرا لكم ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
That sauce is really good with goat hot pot

that bibingka abnoy really smells awful. but it tastes good especially when eaten with spicy vinegar dip.
