You proclaimed at the JGLM conference, then this video on tongues came up, ...and just now...TWO of Kenneth e. hagins pamphlets on prophecy just fell out of a stack of books....yes Lord....I’ll get right on it!!!
Thank you on this teaching on praying in tongues. I was so confused when ministers spoke about having the interpretation of tongues as a mandate. You made it very clear in your example of a vertical and a horizontal communication. You really brought it home with that statement. Thank you for being an obedient servant.
This is a wonderful teaching Saint Tom the church has become shamefully ignorant of the amazing gifts Father has paid everything for us to have so I proclaim I receive everything that Jesus paid for me to have to use for his glory in Jesus name!!!
Haleluyah .Brother, this message just confirms it of how glorious God who grants it . praise Him for the benefits of speaking in tongues while putting the enemy on shame.
Thank You . I do pray in tongue. But this excellent message add fuel and energies me to want to continue and not give up or not get tired .. Truly it’s so vital . I ll make it a priority to do so .
This is an awesome video. Thank you brother for reminding us of all the reasons why we need to always pray in the Spirit. Half of this list you just taught me more.
I appreciate your teaching. But I just want to take one issue with something you said here. You said that Jesus sent us the Holy Spirit. But Jesus is saying in John 14:26 but the Father will send the Holy Spirit to teach us all things. So it sounds nice and cozy to say that the three parts of the Trinity each sent us a gift. And Jesus did lay his life down for us, and rose again, and brought his blood to the mercy seat in heaven. But according to this verse, he’s not the one who sent the Holy Spirit. Just a thought on that point.
But notice the scripture does not say to forbid speaking in tongues, instead it says forbid not to speak in tongues. I hope your church has biblical and speaks in tongues like everyone else in the New Testament did?
There's a difference between the gift of tongues that's given to the body as a message and praying to God in tongues like what happened in the upper room. 120 people spoke at the same time without interpretation
I don't know if you're asking honest questions or if you're just trolling and trying to correct the entire body of Christ? Please let me know so I know to either help you or delete you
Theres two tongues , one to edify the person , the other is the gift of tongue to edify the church body. One is the Bapitism with the Holy Ghost with evidence of speaking in tongues. The second one is for prophecy for the church body.
There is one more operation of speaking in tongues and that is as a sign to the unbeliever. An example of it is in Acts ch.2. Upon recieving the Holy Spirit thr believers began ymo speak in tongues( one spiritual language) and the men in the crowd Heard what they were saying in their individual native languages as a sign to them.
Wrong understanding you are not talking to god in tongues….. if you speak in a tongue that is unknown that means no man can understand you so only good would be able to know what your saying but it’s not telling you to speak to god in tongues ….
@@TomSCARRELLAministries I don’t agree with coco pop, I know the gift of tongues is from the Lord. But what I think he is trying to say is “You have a wrong understanding of tongues, you are not talking to God when you speak in tongues. If you speak in a tongue that is unknown that means no one can understand you, so speaking in tongues would only be Good if someone interprets it but the Bible isn’t telling you to speak to God in tongues.” I will pray for you coco pop for God to reveal himself to you through his divine spirit, I was the same way a few months ago until I swallowed my pride and started to read scripture and realized these spiritual gifts have to be for today and the way tongues are being used are biblical. I encourage you to dig deep into Corinthians 12-14 and try to have an open mind when reading it. Don’t just take a glance and have the mentality of “I’ve already read it so I know it” humble yourself before the Lord. God bless you
The English word " tongues" , in the original Greek that the N.T. was written in, means " another language" and " a language". Both refer to one language not plural languages. In Acts ch.2 when the apostles recieved the Holy Spirit they all spoke in the same one spiritual language. The miracle for the men In the crowd was that they each heard and understood what the apostles were all saying in one language in their individual languages. That's why it's repeated three times in Acts ch.2 that the men were asking each other how they were Hearing the apostles speaking in their individual languages
@@robertnieten7259 it’s plural in acts 2 Acts 2:1 Context 1And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 4And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Tongues, is a sign to the non believer not for believers . Paul says we should seek to prophesy rather than speak in a tongue
But what about the scripture that says, "forbid not to speak in tongues".... I hope your church doesn't forbid it, hence they would unscriptural! BOOM
The Bible says the gift of prophesy is greater than someone who speak in tongues
But notice the scripture does not say to forbid speaking in tongues, instead it says forbid not to speak in tongues. I hope your church has biblical and speaks in tongues like everyone else in the New Testament did?
