Well... something important to remember is that the first generation robot masters were made by Dr. Light to help out humanity, whereas the rest of the robot masters in MM2 to MM8 were designed with no other purpose in mind than destruction.
Watched the whole Mega Man 3 playlist at once although all I needed was a quick pic of the flying thing with a huge eye from the beginning of Gemini Man's stage. This game brings up so many memories from my childhood! Thank you for these videos! :)
It's great to watch my favorite mega man all the way, it sure took me back, your comments made it more enjoyable, thank you for the upload and time dedicated
True, though some here and there in other generations also had supposed uses. Needle Man, for example, was made to work in an energy mine, and Top Man was created as part of a children's amusement park.
@PinkKittyRose Well, the Megaman wiki shows that Cossack's robots were also useful. Brightman was used for light during expeditions, Pharaoh man was used for exploring pyramids, Drill man was used for underground construction, Dive man was used for underwater exploration, and so on. I don't know what Toad man, Skull man, and Ring man are good for though.
@PinkKittyRose Not to contradict, but I think that Cossack's robots from 4 were designed with industrial purposes in mind, except for Skull Man and Ring Man, and some of the robots from 6 had other uses, like Plant Man was the Botanical Gardens mascot and Centaur man worked in a museum. Sorry if I'm wrong, but this is what I have read.
It's kinda weird how they came up with useful tasks for the robots. The first generation all had uses. How do you make some of the Robot Masters useful to humanity?
No wonder you used the Top Spin so much. Beating Dr. Wily in one shot!? Once again, your knowledge of the game shines through and I can not help but be amazed.
@SinsOfScience That's what we call "Engrish" since it's a common mistake for the Japanese to use "R" in place of "L" when translating to the English language.
@Floyd5642 Well, if you mean the ones in Megaman 2,3,5, most in 7, and most in 8, then perhaps Crash man would be good for mining, Air man would be good for blowing away rubble, Bubble man would be good for discovering new underwater species, Heat man would be good for burning coal, Wood man would be swell at guarding a national preserve, and Metal man would be good for sawing doors through in case of a cave in. Those are some ideas for Megaman 2 robot masters. Well, I'm about out of characters.
*Playing Mega Man 3 last night 'cause I couldn't sleep* OH NO, I CAN'T BEAT WILY'S ROBOT!!! WHATEVER SHALL I DO!?! *Top Spin* Wait, what? My reaction from last night playing it on Anniversary collection
i dunno about splash woman- she was a mermaid. typically (at least in modern terms) male fantasy stuff. and considering at the end of MM9, auto is taking pictures of her.... yeah, still kinda sexist. but hey! we got a hot mermaid robot lady!

Seeing Pink move the nes controller to Blue's whistle made my heart warmer.
One of the best endings in a Mega Man series. TBH. Thanks for the share.
Absolutely love Proto Man's whistle, and Pinks button combo for the notes.

They're called Nitrons.

i was going through an old phone and i found that this game was on it so i just had to finish it, and this video helped me a lot. thanks :)

Toad Man is an argicultral robot.
Skull man and Ring Man are battle robots.

MM6 Robots were designed by people around the world for a contest to see who could build the best fighting robot, destruction was their exact purpose
anyone else notice the typo in megamans description card?
idk if this is "necroposting", but
Dr. Right is Light's japanese name

If see the controls on the bottom left screen once the Proto Man's theme starts the guy playing starts going with the beat.
During the epilogue, are you typing to the beat? If so, awesome!!
@SinsOfScience That's what we call "Engrish" since it's a common mistake for the Japanese to use "R" in place of "L" when translating to the English language.
Heh I love how it says "Robots made by Dr. Light" or whatever, and then on Mega Man's card, it reads "Former assistant to Dr. Right".
Seeing this walk through is like watching MegaMan with the Infinity Gauntlet. These bosses/levels are no match lol

Thanks for the guide
Is it just me or does the bird that land in the tree look like a mini megaman-1up?
THAT IS DR.WILYS SPACESHIP!
That's no moon- er, bird...
It looks like Beat
@@mm3shadowman982 beat only appears in Mega Man 5 to 11.
Oh, the ending *three seconds later* ... That was it?
I stand corrected from the previous video.
But at least I can say that Megaman got stoned!
alright top spin op, got it.
those vids are gonna be how i beat MM3 once and for all
Awesome gameplay
I still don't understand why protoman kept attacking his brother all those times
Break Man isn't the real Proto Man.
@@DiamondWolfX he is
@IroncladPhazon At least Splash Woman's weapon (Laser Trident) is very useful.
I accidentally got hit by Gamma's shots, only because I wasn't paying attention.
The whistle concert... I really wish that they revised it somehow
So!...
Nice playtrough, huh?
Just one thing is bothering me now.
In the end, when Proto Man's head appears in sky, was that Wily Caosule in that tree?
Yes

How the fuck is taking pictures sexist
dr right?
Gamma phase 2 is actually immune to everything but snakes and spinning.
@PinkKittyRose No not Megaman 4 and 6 robot masters.
1:30 typo! wiley
Dr. Wiley. lol
I got it on my 3ds today and I beat in like 45 minutes to an hour by using my old password
Trust me, I tried.
Easiest boss ever
