Very informative and love the Father - Daughter relationship. You are a lucky dude.....I always wished I had a daughter. They make a Dad's life beautiful. I'll be planting Delphinium seeds today in a pot. I guess they should be good by next year.
I live in New Zealand but was raised by garden-loving British grandparents - the accent and topic are so comfortingly reminiscent of home :) Thank you for the helpful video as I have had no success with my delphinium seed efforts so far.
i bought a Delphinium plant ( dark knight ) and so i hope to get flowers and then seeds this year , seems like a bit of work to keep them going , never grown them before but cant wait to meet my new friend
Ahh bless your dad..i miss my Good so so much when I see this video...just like him..I love the old gardeners...it's why I became a Gardener myself...but I haven't got anyone to teach me real gardening...it breaks my heart...also lost my Dad...he was a Carpenter...so many old techniques I wish I knew..stumbling along in my learning and knowledge...enjoy those delphs
I just love everything about this video. It's so clear from this short 5 minute video that father & daughter have a very special relationship. Love your accents! (I'm from Texas.) And I love how he calls you "love" as he's telling you how to plant the seeds. This was very helpful to me. Thank you! I'm about to plant some delphinium seeds. I think I might make myself a little "presser" like you mentioned!
This grandpa is such a wonderful person enthusiastic at this age ,active ...I loved reading what people wrote here..no doubt love this English old man ...would be delighted to meet him ...nd help him ending a day with tea 😍😍👌
Absolutely love the video, great money saving tools too. The music reminds me a bit of the old films Dr Phibes, lol. Great informative videos, just gotta love your pa. xx

You have just made my day, my grandmother was like you. I loved her, and I respect you as you do things the way it should be done. with love. regards I have remembered her tips and use them in my greenhouse, shed and garden. thanks for making me smile DR J BRADLEY
I am new to planting seeds and wanted to know how long you keep the tray in the water in your cat litter box for. Because I think I may have done irrepreble damage to my seeds for leaving them in the water to long.
This is the kind of tutor they need in horticultural colleges, no jargon or word salad.
Just keeping it simple and straight forward.
What a lovely man!

I read a blog that says without stratification Delphinium germination rate is only 20%. With stratification - 90%. Would you agree?
What zone are you located in?
The North of England zone.
Sounds like. Hint of Yorkshire.
