I need new paints like I need a hole in the head, but A. Gallo paints have been enticing me with how difficult (and costly) they are to acquire and how beautiful the colors are. They are pretty much the Holy Grail of handmade watercolors.
I really admire the fact that you paint so freely and let the paint flow and enjoying the process without worrying. It takes real skill to relax and make something beautiful. Thank you.
I gotta say, even if I don't use or can afford most of the things you review, I find myself watching your videos because they are a. Very educational wherein I get to learn to the point of actually being interested in trying out the stuff you review: b. The art you make with it is honestly just amazing to me cause it's so quick yet looks so good: and c. They're just straight up entertaining with the chill voice and all. Hope you and your family are always well and safe! Keep up the great content!
i've been using some of their watercolor paints , for awhile , now , and absolutely love them .. they definitely feel like an indulgence , and the experience of painting with them just feels very luxurious .. definitely wonderful product .. .. thanks so much , teoh , for all your reviews and for your honesty .. norakag, here 👍👍
Wow, those sure look like gorgeous colours 🥰 I love that these smaller, really dedicated companies are getting more traction and recognition recently, they definitely deserve it❣
Very informative video as always and great sketch too! Very tempted to get a smaller palette of these beautiful paints. As a beginner I’m like a child in a sweet shop seeing all these lovely paints and art supply videos! Thank you 🙂
I got the Signature I set at the last drop and the dot card. The dot card has very large dots, much larger than most dot cards, enough to do a few paintings. Really love them, and love the brush that came with my set. Planning to buy a handful more colors and another brush.
Beautiful. Just looking at those colours makes me feel alive, and I love the way you put them to use. I have a lot to learn when it comes to using water colour.
Thanks for the time and attention to detail you put into your reviews and write ups! Been looking forward to this review since that beast of a swatching video. Hope to decide on one of their smaller sets :)
Been looking at these for years….just got that 48 pan set and a few colors that are not in thee. They are lovely watercolors……easy to rewet. thank you for the review!
What a colorful view. Are the buildings really all those colors? It was very fun to watch. It is very generous of you to have a contest with these! Good luck to all who enter.
Wow I'm learning about watercolors but unfortunately I'm not good enough at it, I was trying for months. I love painting I keep experimenting. I wasn't expecting handmade watercolors....i guess you feel happy to hold in your hands something that it was handmade. 😃
Wish I've commented before - won't be able to afford the box with that price😭 Love your style and color and learning A LOT, so be nice to get the painting as well. Thank you and keep sketching🙏🏻👍
They look great- I watched the Livestream too and was impressed. A lot of multi pigment colours though, maybe the 'safe' pigment restriction drives that? Thanks for all the reviews Teoh 😊
Yeah, this video is much shorter, however I also enjoyed the long live one ;) these watercolors are really appealing especially because they are made in Italy. I hope you will review a variety of Tintoretto brushes and also Borciani & Bonazzi, both Italian brands.
The sketch is really beautiful. I'm always weary of so called handmade paints because the price is so steep and I don't see how they would differ that much in quality with what you can already find. These however seem special.
I’m not sure the price is worth it considering how many multipigment colors and considering many of them might be possibly fugitive (apparently bc they are plant based..heard that from someone else so idk).
One of my favourite paints, and Alina Gallo is always friendly and pleasant to communicate with. I feel like I can trust her to have carefully duplicated a historical colour, and the paints themselves feel lush and high quality. It’s taken a while, but I have close to a full set of them now. (My weird quirk is that I’d rather find just the right pigment than mix colours. I don’t know why…) Just a few more A. Gallo colours left to collect, though I’m trying to resist!
OMG you are SO fortunate! I don’t believe I will win the giveaway but I am still considering buying the set of 48 Teoh just demonstrated. I have been wanting to try honey-based watercolours and these pigments look so gorgeousI live in Canada and, with the conversion, the set will cost me a small fortune but I don’t care LOL I have actually visited Assisi, (my parents are Italian) so as soon as I found out that was where Gallo paints were made, there was no more doubt in my mind LOL
@@Deedster56 Grandparents on both sides of my family were Italian, so I feel the same draw to these paints! She had dot cards last time I checked, so if the shipping for that isn’t too exorbitant, that would be a way to narrow down which paints to try, if you don’t want to dive in with all 48 when the store restocks on Sunday. But it’s hard for me to talk anyone out of getting them all. I prefer these honey-based paints to Sennelier, (can be too meek) and they have a different quality to them than Schmincke (can be very bold) or M. Graham (can be too gummy). I’ve probably spent more than I should on getting all the A Gallo, but I use them a lot and enjoy them, so it’s been a good investment :)
Teoh, thank you for this excellent review (and your generosity!) I would love to have the Gallo watercolour set. I live in Canada and the price conversion from the Euro is astronomical 😢 If someone else is the lucky winner then I would be VERY honoured to be considered for your beautiful sketch ❤️
Another excellent review, I've seen a few reviews of this brand and I find myself pining after them more and more! Someday I'll be able to afford a set.
Generous give away indeed! I've been eyeing these for a while but watercolour is not my main medium so have been having trouble justifying the expense, especially as I just shelled out for 12 pan set of Schminke Horadam.
Whoever wins the painting is getting a wonderful piece. :) Also, I really like the A. Gallo. I'll add it to my list of supplies to get once I have improved my skill level. The eco friendly means a lot to me :) Take care
GIVEAWAY HAS ENDED. Winners are Kufucath and Luke Girdlestone
Those paints look gorgeous! Nice sketch!
Wow I watch your videos too btw!

The price is very considerable, because handmade watercolors takes a lot of time and effort to make.
Very informative video as always and great sketch too! Very tempted to get a smaller palette of these beautiful paints. As a beginner I’m like a child in a sweet shop seeing all these lovely paints and art supply videos! Thank you 🙂
i'm absolutely in love with the selection of blues and purples in this palette! thank you for sharing this with us
Great to know that you are encouraging fellow viewers to sketch and paint. Very generous of you doing these giveaways.

Indeed those colors look fantastic.
They looks really good! Good to know they are from italy... I can order one set easily.
What a great addition for a person just starting out and not having many colors to work with!
Beautiful. Just looking at those colours makes me feel alive, and I love the way you put them to use. I have a lot to learn when it comes to using water colour.

Thank you for showing us these beautiful paints. I am a fan of your art style!
Gorgeous painting and beautiful watercolors!
I love that you said they have honey, I like that ingredient. Your painting was so cheerful and uplifting!
Gorgeous paints and presentation. And lovely sketch.
This looks like a nice range of colors. Thank you for making us aware of them.
Beautiful sketch. I love the variety of colors in the Gallo palette.
These paints look simply gorgeous and lovely to paint with. I may have to pick some up tomorrow during the restock!
I ordered the dot cards last month and I’m thoroughly enjoying them!
Love the watercolor paints! Your sketch is also superb! Bravo!
These look luscious! And so saturated. Very tempting... 😊
Love watching you sketch and paint.
What a colorful view. Are the buildings really all those colors? It was very fun to watch.
It is very generous of you to have a contest with these! Good luck to all who enter.
Wow. I really like these and this is quite reasonably priced! I’ll have to try them out! Thanks for the review
The colors look very vibrant. Nice sketch!
The color selection of that palette is incredibly beautiful!! There are definitely specific colors I have my eye on after this.
Really a lovely set of paint. Love it! Thanks for your review
Great review, love the idea that you giveaway one of your pieces of work. The handmade paints look very good and luxurious. 😋
Love the colours has a nice earth tones. 😍 I haven’t tried any handmade watercolour before but these look so nice
What a gorgeous set. Thanks so much for sharing it!
Wow I'm learning about watercolors but unfortunately I'm not good enough at it, I was trying for months. I love painting I keep experimenting. I wasn't expecting handmade watercolors....i guess you feel happy to hold in your hands something that it was handmade. 😃
I have the Signature set and just love them. Thinking about adding the Signature 2 set soon. Teoh. your work makes me happy everytime!
the swatch cards are so helpful, thank you! I think it's really generous of you to host giveaways periodically. good luck to all!
Those greens going into greys look particularly interesting! Some real mineral pigments like some DS, too, it seems.
So many interesting colors, especially those earthy greens and light blues!
It looks really nice and high quality too 👌 so fancy!
Thanks Teoh. Colors look very concentrated. Really expensive though. One of the reasons I have never tried handmade paints is the cost.
What beautiful vibrant colors
Wish I've commented before - won't be able to afford the box with that price😭 Love your style and color and learning A LOT, so be nice to get the painting as well. Thank you and keep sketching🙏🏻👍
I'm sure you'll find ways to create beautiful things using cheaper paints until you can afford a box like this. :)
I just got some special colors, so one at a time isn’t bad, except for shipping…
I don't often comment anymore but never miss a post! These look like some paints to try! Thanks again for another great video!
Very beautiful! I love them
pretty colors. So kind of you to hold give aways of the paints and your art.
Great sketch, and those colours are fabulous!
Those paints look gorgeous.
Rochor! Very nice! I miss seeing that estate.
Thanks for the review - those look like quality paints!
They look great- I watched the Livestream too and was impressed. A lot of multi pigment colours though, maybe the 'safe' pigment restriction drives that? Thanks for all the reviews Teoh 😊
gosh these paints are so lush like they'd be such a treat I'd be so scared of actually using them!
I created in my procreate a color palette base on those watercolors, I love the color selection 🥰
I loved the selection too! Lots of warm colors, must work really well together ❤
gorgeous paints! I would love to get my hands on the smaller set once they restock.
Yeah, this video is much shorter, however I also enjoyed the long live one ;) these watercolors are really appealing especially because they are made in Italy. I hope you will review a variety of Tintoretto brushes and also Borciani & Bonazzi, both Italian brands.
Pretty colours and your art is awesome as always ❤️🇮🇳
Those paints look incredible. Thanks for showing them off! :)
Georgeous colors and explanation !
A Gallo paints are well done and not chalky like most handmade I’ve tried. Thank you for sharing your review of them.
Lots of colors to choose from , I guess mixing different colors here would create interesting combinations
Such nice colors!
Lovely paints !
Nice sketch !
So curious to hear how do you find those colours… I’d like to try them as well! You are really generous with all the giveaway you do… thanks a lot!
www.agallocolors.com/shop restock next Sunday!
Thanks for the review, i was waiting for it since your previous video.
Nice sketch, love how it turned out ! The watercolour paints look lovely too :)

These look dreamy. I love your sketch. I think I missed what it was that you sketched.

I love the sketch! I am going to try it but maybe with less details
Hadn't heard of this brand but will definitely look for it now!
Are we allowed to enter for both the sketch and watercolors? I can't decide!
These are My number One watercolor paint 🎨 palette exquisite
I'm viridian...with envy! I have the site bookmarked so I have something to aspire to. Just a bit too pricy for a beginner like me.
