Iran's foreign supporters gradually came to include Syria and Libya, through which it obtained Scud missiles. It purchased large quantities of weaponry from North Korea and the People's Republic of China, notably the Silkworm anti-ship missile. It also acquired arms from Portugal, notably after 1984. It also acquired propellants and other weapons related components from Spain and Portugal.

    Two flaws in this documentary:
    1. The surveyor gave a wrong explanation on BLEVE, if LPG refrigeration fails there would only be a loss of product which is usually vented or flared and for BLEVE other conditions must be met.
    2. It had a mission to demonstrate that the main motivation of fighting Sadam invading troops for Iranians was religious, leaving patriotism out totally.

And iran was under sanctions of USA
Even Russian tried to attack iran at the same time but iran take em all down
This was the powerful move from iran after 8 years of war against iraq, usa and Europe
Won the fight and into the country ( iraq ) but because of some religious leader like ( khomeini)
They stop the war because iraq was badly damaged after big air strikes on iraq

In the war they produced all their own missiles. The west had an embargo on them. Despite being able to obtain weapons in secretive ways from countries around the globe, this was no enough to meet their needs...so they decided to start producing whatever the west denied them through sanctions. They broke apart the equipment that they had from the time of the shah and reverse engineered it. One of these things was their ballistic missiles and their anti-ship missile systems.

They aren't mighty by any measure . They kill defenseless women who refuse to wear hijab , but they've proven completely incompetent militarily . In fact , if not for Iranian fighter pilots & their F14s being infinitely superior to Iraqi MIGs , Iran would've been an Iraqi province by war's end
