Yours is best video I have seen , shows everything one needs to know how to do the job I even fished out my old protractor which made it so much easier to cut into the corners for a perfect fit.Good on you mucker. A happy Welshman . Never to old to learn.
I had no problem cutting the board. I was using a relatively thick cut saw so I did lightly brush the edges with a bit of sandpaper to remove any rough edges. But there was no chips or splinters. Hope this helps. Have a wonderful day

Once u put down the cover. Do you have to go around the edges with silicone?
Did you use helium?
Hi there what adhesive do u use
But how is it fixed on, glue, screws special adhesive ?
You can use silicone as it is also adhesive it will give a better suction. Don't use screws
Why are you using external fascia board for an internal window sill?
Can you think of a better alternative mr Bob the builder??
I have a question OP. Does that material cut nice and cleanly with no major chips or splinters?, provided you use the right saw of course.

That's good to know, thanks for the reply.
RD Kitchen Garden is it glued on any good for external
I like that. All explained nice and clearly. Thanks.
thank you
The end pieces that stick out what do you cover them with?
I have the same question!
@@ChloeSxW I ended up making two pieces from some white plastic I had. Looks pretty good though!
Good repair where its difficult or not practical to remove the old cill.
What a great video thank you
thank you Razzia. Have a wonderful day
Its and internal Sill
you didnt stick it down
Always concerns me when people use the wrong term. It is not a window sill. A window sill is on the outside of a property.
Cheers dude 😊
have a great day
Its a window board, not a cill, and much easier to cut out the plaster and make good after, much more professional
THAT'S A WINDOW BOARD, NOT A SILL/CILL.
Yes ghat is correct
Why do you sound like a CHIPMUNK 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
what a load of crap
