Hello dear Shiko! I learned a lot from this channel!! It would be unfair not to say thank you for all the information that helped me understand the DV lottery and my preparations for the interview. I was yesterday March 30, 2023 at the US Embassy in Kinshasa for my interview / DV2023. I didn't even do a minute in front of the consular officer. After 5 short questions, the lady said to me : “Congratulations, your visa is approved and good luck in the USA”. My passport remained at the embassy for the rest of the process. It was a quick and simple interview.
Congratulations! God is good. Sir may I ask how many times you played the lottery before you won? I’m on my 8th attempt and with each year not winning, I lose faith and afraid that i may never win

when one has applied for greencard as single and then the status change one can notify the embassy before the interview because i know people who had done that,also if applicants had a baby after application they can notify the embassy before interview with the birth certificate
Thanks for the information but I want to ask that, if you are married and one partner won the lottery, during the interview are both interviewed or just one partner ?

Completing high school is a must. You can't apply if you didn't complete high school.
