Have you ever dreamed about playing non-existing levels in moktar while asleep? I did. I played this nasty game 8 years until i can reach the level 15. This is the hardwst game ever!
as a kid used to play each game till i could complete it. as an adult.... i dont recall the last game i completed in the last 10 years... lol Honourable amiga completion mentions, Paradroid 90, James pond 2 codename robocod, Titus the fox, lemmings, and i am sure there are plenty of others i have forgotten. So many classics on the Amiga. So many hard games too!
this game brings back looaaaads of memories, thanx for sharing :) I love this channel, pretty much every amiga game I want to see again has been long played :)
It looks like the PC version is more known and popular but I can clearly see this is the superior one, proper scrolling, more detail, brighter colors - although some say it handles better on PC. They are still both valid because while far from a masterpiece (bosses are especially lame and animations are poor), it's very strong on the levels: they are not especially tightly designed but are still huge and full of secrets and shortcuts, which lends greatly to replayability; I've found some speedruns with the game finished in 20 minutes or less. I also loved that you are not automatically given a password but have to look out for it yourself. Level 9 still haunts my dreams, since I never managed to find the password there (so I always had to begin from level 8) and, unless you know exactly where to go, it's long and very difficult; following levels felt like a breeze in comparison.
I remember when this came and how there was talk that they wanted Titus the Fox to become the Amiga's mascot, like Sonic was for Sega. Didn't quite work out...
I remember that game, never get complete though (maximum I reached is pyramid level). Skid row / crime atmosphere. It has very fast speed by default, but you could press F10 to slow it down.
Say, anyone remembers a platformer where you were a boy with a creepy smile on his face and you rode some kind of bird? It was a goose or swan, I think.
El único gran error que se puede sacar de este juego¿? Que los malos finales no cambiaran la melodía del momento, en las fases en las que aparecen. En casi todos los juegos cuando aparece un malo final, la melodía suele variar con respecto a los ratos normales de la fase.
It's very hard to see what all the fuss was about when you see Amiga games like this. It is better than the 8-bits. But if you look at an 8-bit game on an Amstrad, it is about the same for style. This has more colour and better sound, but the games itself are only a slight improvement, for all but the absolute best Amiga titles, it doesn't have so much of a march on the 64 or Amstrad.
did you know you could actually pick up some of the enemy characters (from behind) the same way you pick up objects! and you can throw them at other characters! its so funny lol like those white Arab soldiers for example.
26:04 You kidding me. You can’t do this on the Dos version. At 27:04 on Dos you can’t kill the homeless idiot because you don’t have any throwable object to throw his face:D on the Dos version you have to choose the other path where is the blue ball and the box 25:36 otherwise you can’t finish the level and the entire game:D Amiga version is so much better, better scrolling and has more details, more colours than the Dos, but easier. In Amiga the enemies so much slower and if you got a hit you are inmortal for a few seconds. But I like music better in the Dos version:P
Wspaniała platformówka, dynamiczna i dosyć trudna. Z dwa miechy temu poszedł styk w moim quickshocie podczas przechodzenia Titusa. :) (A500) Pamiętam jeszcze ją z czasów dzieciństwa.
I really want to love this game each time I launch it. In France, with Moktar as hero, it was a little bit easy to avoid it in 1992 as I hated Lagaf 'and his horrible song which was so successful. But Titus The Fox is so cute that it is more difficult not to love this game. But wonderful GFX, music and animation can't hide all the gameplay and design errors that ruin the game. Levels are sometimes frustrating labyrinths and by default the main character moves way too fast. And what is this idea to place him in front of the screen? We always have to progress step by step, what is just once again frustrating in a game in which scrolling is so fast. To help, you can press F10, a standard feature that divide the speed by 2. It's a bit slow but if you swtich your Amiga to 60hz display, here you have a decent speed. It's sometimes very slow as you understand that Titus made the choice to display the game as fast as possible depending the number of sprites on screen, what's a little bit stupid. But the game is far more playable with this settings A real mess, the game is beautiful but really frustrating on many points.
A game that I played so much as a kid, yet never managed to beat...
Same. Only ONCE have I gotten to 27:23 , so I haven't even learned how to pass it.
The superior version of the game... And the memories are flooding back.
Ah memories! Mind playing this when I was about 6 or 7.
Have you ever dreamed about playing non-existing levels in moktar while asleep? I did. I played this nasty game 8 years until i can reach the level 15. This is the hardwst game ever!
I am so proud I could beat this game :)
This game was so underrated. I loved to play this so much in my childhood. So much better than Super Mario!
The music for level 2 starting at 2:25 was so good I would start that level and then just leave the game playing for ages.
as a kid used to play each game till i could complete it.
as an adult.... i dont recall the last game i completed in the last 10 years... lol

So many classics on the Amiga. So many hard games too!
I liked this a lot as a kid. The graphics are still very good looking.
I used to play this game a lot. Love the music!

man the gramps with the TV is the best!!!!good memories amiga for eva!!!
I remember playing this a lot as a kid, and finding it insanely hard. Looking at the video now... yeah, it still looks insanely hard. XD
👏👏👏 it was a very difficul game and testing your neural system. Thank you for play
Titus probably named the fox after themselves as an inspiration from Sonic team- Sonic the hedgehog!
Some of the best music in a 16-bit game, ever.
I think this is the best version of this game. Best graphics, best sound quality.
People kept telling me this game was in my head. I knew O played it. Along with Pac in Time
this video has remarkably good sound
dug my a1200 first time in 18yrs, this is the first game i tried and it amazingly worked,,sounds nice for its time, nice vid :p
I used to play with this game and I loved it!
In later years, Titus the Fox would bring us Superman 64
His rings where the greatest!
That game is awesome! Brings back loads of memories. Thanks for uploading!
love the opening music
One of the best games I ever played, a masterpiece really.
My first game ever :) I got it together with Amiga 1200
Level 2...... that music starts and straight away i am 8 years old again.....................

11:40 Urgh that part still gives me nightmare.
also 27:23
The game was great, but seriously...the devs were pure evil.
I remember beating this game when I was a 15. It took me a lot of time specially levels 8,9 and 13 were so hard... But I managed to beat this game.
that little fox.. titus interactive. well known in thooze days
Never got past that lady on top of the skyscraper. I remember having dreams about this.
Childhood Gem, favourite music is at 19:34 & 35:52 It sounds like something the Thompson Twins would do, very 80s sounding.
I remember when this came and how there was talk that they wanted Titus the Fox to become the Amiga's mascot, like Sonic was for Sega. Didn't quite work out...
Ahhh! I played this game when i was young! Haha really long game play !! ^^
this game was tough, i only got to level 4 or 5 and i remember the controls and mechanics seemed very unclear and inintuitive.
This game was just a nightmare for my childhood
OMG OMG OMG !! Loves on this game and it's music!!
This game had potential.
Fucking awesome game. This and fire and ice
I remember that game, never get complete though (maximum I reached is pyramid level).
Skid row / crime atmosphere.
It has very fast speed by default, but you could press F10 to slow it down.
Nice work Lemm
This makes me want to go out and throw bottles at winos.
very nice game very nice music
How do you move that box at 26:00 ? Isn't it impossible?
@cubex55 iam not find music files in the FAQ :(. Very good Video
The controller seems too slippery. Well, what do you expect from the people behind Superman 64?
The music is atleast listenable.
26:31 lol carried that box just to throw it away later :P
Wooow,play in amstrad 5086 1993
great! now I can't get the level2 music out of my mind
I wish the PC version was based on this one, instead it was based on the Atari ST version, which was pretty poor.
@annexus1
During play hold down both 'AMIGA' keys, 'C' and press 'F4'. You will
be presented with a message and you will get 99 lives.
Say, anyone remembers a platformer where you were a boy with a creepy smile on his face and you rode some kind of bird? It was a goose or swan, I think.
Hmmm. I remember it having different graphics, but this is familiar as well.
+Andrew Pliakis (Valkaar) chaos kid ;)

do you have any cheats for this game?
ohhh the scrolling is like a dream...not that crappy one in the PC version :( that makes the game almost unplayable
Personally, i prefer Moktar, if only for Lagaf noise :)

any cheats for the pc version?
thsi game was extremely hard
yesssssssssssss!!! thx
I couldn't pass the 8th level.
wasn't there an Arab female boss somewhere in the sky?
easier than pc, in which enemies move faster and no invincible time while getting hurt
did you know you could actually pick up some of the enemy characters (from behind) the same way you pick up objects! and you can throw them at other characters! its so funny lol like those white Arab soldiers for example.
100 times better than pc version
why better? I only played on PC, just checked this vid here, and it seems easier than PC version, dogs are not speed running for example.

Godziny spędzone przy tej grze - bazowa gra!

And with Bubsy died Titus the fox

lol, this was the only game i bought for my A500. The other 200 games was piracy..
this is hard game
very similar sfx as the blues brothers. totally forgettable music in this game
