I love my Chevys ! I’ve owned Impala’s and trucks! Currently I own a 74 square body that I love it’s a fleet side and I also have a 71 in pieces that I need to finish. I also have a 1960 Full custom California look bug.
@@PCTVComfortVision square bodies are my favorite generation. They were produced from 1973 - 1991 except the regular cab pickups "half tons & three quarter tons only" were finished in 1987, & the one ton regular cab pickups were finished in 1989.
My friend just got a C10 it's a rust bucket, but he has high hopes for it...and I do too. Told him I'll break out the tools to help out!😅 Keep the great clips coming
I just got a 1980 and a 1976. 2 C20s that im gana do stuff to the 76 is a stick ill leave it as a work truck but the 80 is auto im gana juice it all up and make it a pretty street truck
I'm old enough that square bodies were new trucks when I was in high school. I don't think of them off the top of my head when I'm thinking of classic trucks, but every time I film a square body, the views comments, and likes skyrocket. Except for the fact that most of mine are badly shot and in the dark, this could have been one of mine. I use Fortunate Son frequently.
I was 13 years old when the square body was released. Or as per Chevy calls at “the rounded line.” Which was the replacement for the 1967 through 1972 action line pick up. square bodies for me are the Classic quintessential Chevy truck. My father bought one brand new in 1974. I think these have been used more for gardening trucks than any other truck ever made and brought back from that duty and onto the street again. I’ve owned my truck going on 10 years now and I still love it.
Agreed I own a 74 round eye Fleetside short box. It’s called the Franken 10! I will never sell it. Always needs work. I’m putting air-conditioning in it right now.
I have a 74 that everybody likes but it’s nothing quite as nice as this one and yeah hey when you’re that old you’re gonna have a couple dings and dents in you
@@dreamachines8584 That’s a rare dog. I just sold a 70 LS swapped stepside at Mecum earlier this year. I own a 74 short bed that I drive quite a bit satin black then around the block lol. I also have a 71 in pieces short bed that’s a project that I have yet to finish. God knows when that’ll get done. I just finished building the engine for my 1960 Cal bug that was originally in hot VW magazine back in 1990
Can I feature a photo of your truck in my first video? I would include your info on the photo if you'd like. I'm trying to start up a little squarebody-obs car show channel and need all the rigs I can get!
Actually , that’s my video short of a really beautiful square Body Main St., Garden Grove I own a 74 short bed black known as the Franken 10 and also 1970 short bed Steppy LS powered
Classic Truck and Classic CCR. Love it.

Those early square body Chev & GMC short wheel base pickups are rare nowadays.
I love my 74. It’s original short bed square body and it’s the first two most desirable years. Not for sale lol.

Good knowledge of the longest running truck platform GM ever built!
Not rare in Utah, I think everyone has at least one running and maybe another in the yard. I love Squarebodies.
Very nice beings back memories from Dad

Square body’s are the ugliest full size Chevy trucks ever and most common but idk why I like them so much 😂 I bought a 73 recently 😅
I don’t find them ugly similar vintage F150 though yuck. And the 73/74 are the most sought after.
