Thank you for your video using fusible paper for applique. I just purchased an Accuquilt go. I'm also learning to machine quilt. Your video was so helpful. I'll be looking for more of your video's. Sandy. Idaho 😊
Thanks to all your beautiful tutorials and quilts I may never finish anything else I’ve got to do. I love new pillow covers so for sure iam getting started on the flower pot! It’s beautiful simple snd best of all I got all the similar fabric prints.
I had just begun to trace out & cut out the fusible web for the Accuquilt leaves already cut. I hadn't finished & decided there had to be a better way. But, I was afraid I'd damage my Accuquilt cutter with fusible. Thanks to your tutorial, I feel 100% better knowing that fusible won't damage my cutter. Your method is so much easier & definitely a lot more accurate. Thank You!!!
Loved watching your video. I live in Salzburg and loved watching you on the busy bee on BBC in Austria. Just bought a Accuquilt Baby go. Looking forward to more videos on the appliqué
I'd like the pattern for your Christmas quilt. I love it. Wish you would do a tutorial on it. I just found your videos a couple days ago. Very enjoyable.
Very comprehensible and clear TH-cam instruction covering appliqué, sewing machine and acuquilt die cutting. Thank you Stuart for your enjoyable presentation
Very inspirational. I never thought about doing free motion quilting on appliqué. What a great idea! Question. Did you set your stitch length to zero or is the length of the stitches still set in the machine? Am just starting on free motion quilting, and my stitches are not very even. Yours were beautifully spaced so I was hoping your stitch length was regulated by the machine. Thanks again for a wonderful and informative tutorial.
Hi Lorna, for machine appliqué you would only use a tear away stabiliser if you're doing a heavy satin stitch around appliqués. However... if you’re appliqueing on a quilt sandwich (batting and backing added) these will act as a stabiliser... no stabiliser needed! If you’re using a blanket, straight or zig zag stitch you don’t need stabiliser... even if you’re just stitching onto a single layer of fabric. Hope this helps!
Thank you for the tutorial. The Quilt behind Stuart with the curves, could you please tell me the name of the pattern and if it's made with a Accquilt Go Cutter. Thank you
I believe what you are referring to for "greaseproof paper" is Parchment paper in the US. Is that correct? Or did you mean something more like the teflon/ fiberglass brown pressing sheet?
Thank you!! Great tutorial.... would you be so kind as to tell me the name of the quilt over your right shoulder that looks like a snake? My guess is it was done with Bill Kerr's die, am I correct? How was that done?
Hi Barbara, it is made with circle die using the Accuquilt Go Cutter. If you watch the video at 48:41 he tells you more about the quilt behind him and how to make it.
This project is from The Create and Craft club magazine Summer 2018 . Cost to buy £3.99 . Not sure where it`s sold apart from the Create and Craft website I`m a member so we get the magazine with our club membership.
There is quite a bit of waste fabric and fusible here, why not cut the initial fused pieces a little smaller to just cover the shape, rather than throw away so much excess?

If you join create and craft, do you have access to past magazines? Such as the one Stuart Hillard is referring to in this video?
You're adorable and l love this video.
Hi Stewart, please let me know the name and item number for the leaf die you are using. Thank you.
great tutorial, thank you. Do you use tear-away stabilizer when using batting? Does this depend on the stitch you use?

This would be more helpful if we could actually see the stitches used to attach the appliqué.
Your wrong there ~ plain fabric DOES have a wrong and a right side
How do u know which is the right side?
