"Lola" is also a name seen frequently in Latino and black cultures (Chris Rock's daughter; the rapper; the actress; singers; etc.)! I'm in a university, which means I see a LOT of diversity here. Something that didn't surprise me is how many people had names I'd heard, and names I hadn't--none of these names had any correlation with their races! The reason it wasn't a surprise is because I'm not a racist who assigns race to names, unlike you! There is no such thing as a "white American name" unless you are a white American with a name; that is the ONLY qualification.
Before you start trying to turn a silly, light-hearted joke into a race thing, maybe stop to consider that you might actually be the racist one.

The entire whiteboard segment with all the character names had me wheezing on an otherwise very dull snow day. From this video, it sounds a lot like Homestuck without the sort-of-isekai. I'm not even joking, really. The sheer amount of characters in this book is quite reminiscent of Homestuck, which has around 128 named characters. Maybe more, but it seems... debatable.
