Correction about the Mid Boost: The presence boost doesn't boost the bass, it's actually a mid boost, to give more clarity to your voice.
Thanks Jay Lippman for the update

    Great review, Mike!
I think Samasung has some great products.
So those low cut switches definitely feel like they are just changing levels but they are actually doing exactly what they claim to be doing by name.
They roll off or “cut” the lowest frequencies not usually occupied by a vocal in the EQ spectrum.
Depending on my distance to to mic, I’ll often leave them on to get that deep “broadcaster” voice.
Too close and you can get plosives that boom too much or often wind noise on a mic you’d be using outdoors.
Love your review. Need to get better acquainted with some of these mics I’m not using. 👊😎☮️

Wow... fancy seeing you here!! Thank you for stopping by...
I don’t do the best job describing the low cut and Mid... I got excited testing out the mics and never wrote a script.. lol..
I agree with you on getting the deep broadcaster voice by leaving them on. I would for sure need to make sure I stay back a bit and just bump the gain if I’m live or in post.
If you want to try the mic out let me know!
Thank you for the kind words! 👍👍

So why does your mic sound so much better and without any kind of white noise buzzing when using it right out the box? Mine sounds horrible way too muffled and with lots of buzzing even though there are no sounds in my room

Same issue with me. At least as far as OBS goes, it seems like no matter what I do, it sounds either too quiet or way too loud, but in the volume mixer of OBS, I can't even get the sound to the yellow where everybody says it should be, and idk what the issue is after hours and hours of trial and error. I'm wondering if you figured anything out?

I just got this mic, I dont have a mixer and I'm using apple headphones but the audio coming in from the headphones is a bit muffled/buffed if that makes any sense. Any tips on how I can get the audio fixed? I using for gaming not streaming. Appreciate it!

Hey Mike! What do you think is a good XLR Microphone for a beginner streamer? Around a 100$ budget would be cool.

The input volume of the q9u is really low on windows with usb although the system gain is adjusted. Is this normal? What can I expect? Does anybody know?

have you found any fix? ik this is 4 months ago but I am trying to find a fix.

@@Cenz9 I am sorry, too busy to connect the microfone and look up the exact option somewhere in the Windows configuration of the microfone.
But it was an option in the sound preferences of windows. But I think - and that didn't make any sense - it was part of the output(!) preference of the microfone. Sorry, cannot remember. Perhaps this helps anyway pointing you in the right direction.
