How to bake vanilla cake
Ingredients:
3cups Flour
250g butter
2cups sugar
4 eggs
1cup milk
1tbsp vanilla essence
1tsp salt
1tsp baking powder
Method:
In a bowl, using the creaming method, mix together sugar and butter until it becomes pale and fluffy.
Add in vanilla essence, and eggs (one after the other) ensuring the mixture is well emulsified before the adding the next.
Add all the dry ingredients into another bowl and and sift together, then add the dry mixture into the wet mixture bit by bit alternating with the milk. Start with the dry ingredients and end with the dry ingredients. Make sure the batter is well combined in between the additions. Once your batter is well combined, stop mixing.
Transfer into a baking pan, and bake on low heat.
Your cake is ready once you insert a skewer or toothpick in it and it comes out clean.
