You forgot an important thing when mentioning the armour pen. The mythic passive, which is 5% for sunderer and 4% for eclipse. For a level 18 jinx who has 105 base armour you would bring her down to effective 40 armour ((105*0,7)*0,54 ) If you have eclipse, which means you also bring her down to 22 armour and with a yomuus its just 4
If you follow SS, lately he's been building duskblade because other mythics just didn't work for pantheon after the big sustain patch and duskblade brought the invisibility part of the teamfights allowing him to survive long enough to deal big chunks of damage to multiple people so we're talking about ability haste mythic passive :) (which is also great, but does not change armor pen %)
@@LukaYuka1 Honeslty building % armor pen on Pantheon is not effecient anyway. because of his ult passive, lethality is what will benefit him the most (in terms of pure numbers) so I think duskblade is better, except for the lack of healing, in that case it makes sunderer and eclipse better for longer fights.

What i love about spearshot and what DonhuaP pointed out, is that he doesn’t make excuses that he’s champion is weak, he always say that hes champion is broken despite Pantheon not being the best and top pick. Lots of players will always make excuses that they’re champion is weak to make excuses and make it seem like they’r better, similar to RIVEN MAINS.
Exact same thing I thought when I saw that part with him constantly saying panth is broken. He's the exact opposite of the former "famous" high elo Pantheon, Keegun. Dude played Pantheon even at the peak of his broken support status and was constantly crying that the champion is bad, told people not to play him and even when Riot approached him to mini rework Panth he was STILL not happy. He slowly faded into obscurity and quit, he had small dick energy and was unlikable all around. Spear is loud, fun, has the tenacity to get into challenger with a "weak" champion and never complains. True Chad.
I got that with Syndra. She's a 60+% winrate champion for me and I can pick her into all, but maybe two or three champions in the game and win just fine, but most of other Syndra "mains" will complain she's weak because this or that or how durability update made her even worse, etc, hell sometimes making some completely idiotic rework ideas even. I suck at several things, like roaming, warding (I could ward just fine when you could just buy wards, but with the whole trinket shit, it's hard to have even one side of the lane properly warded), playing other roles and most importantly not dying, so I'm having problems climbing _(though it's probably mostly being in a prisoners island with how many utter retards I get on my teams on average compared to other people I knew. It may be a bit cliche to blame my jungler, but holy shit, if the junglers on my team weren't a complete disgrace in 90% of cases)_ but still. C'mon, it's not the champion, if I can carry 60% of my games with this 45% winrate champion when in at least half of those games it'd be better if with one or two people on my team were outright AFK entire game than playing.
Zed mains, as a zed main i always said that zed was one of the most strong champion in the game, and after durability patch he is still strong but not unfair
9:34 be careful how armor pen stacks. Shred (BC) goes first, then the remaining armor pen applies (and I am pretty sure AP from different sources stacks multiplicatively, so its even less).

In this case it goes like this: Black Cleaver reduces effective % armor pen from Pantheon's passive, so the equation is: 30% (BC) + 30%(Panth's E)*30%(BC again) = 51%.
Love the video but I disagree with that part about his personality as a long time Spear Shot viewer. Sure he’s vocal and passionate with regards to the game but never angry; his community is warm and welcoming and Spear himself often greets every individual viewer as his stream goes on. Spear is still one of the most entertaining dudes to watch. He’s up there with Captain Flowers imo. And he’s insane at the game. Doesn’t get much better than that

Yeah, Irelia is not that complicated. High skill ceiling sure, but she is a lot simpler than she seems in terms of her kit and gameplay. She is also just super coinflippy right now so you have to be pretty good at her to be successful now. But if she was as strong as previously, that skill ceiling would be less necessary to approach to have success.

I think it's quite relevant to consider the importance of Spear saying Panth is broken even if he's not. He has a great attitude and energy that inspires people to play him, and the more popular a champ is, it usually means they'll get love from Riot. Like it or not, usually the most famous high elo one tricks of each champion become the "face" of the character and it's community. I have the theory that Pantheon is unpopular because of the former high elo Panth player before Issa: Keegun. Guy constantly cried about the champion being bad even at the peak of his strength as a broken support, told people not to play him, and even when Riot consulted him to mini rework Panth, he was STILL unhappy. He slowly faded into obscurity and quit. Small dick energy all around, an unlikable player that gave the Pantheon community a bad name. Spear is fun, loud and very entertaining to watch, I hope he breathes new life into the champion! So proud of him, true Chad.

Though I haven't tried playing lol in PC(I started playing in wild rift), he's one of the first people I watched when pantheon came out. I'm a big fan of Spartans and so I really wanted to main pantheon. His streams really helped me learn pantheon that I reached lvl 7 mastery in no time because of him, winning 70% of my games. Though I mainly use pantheon in jungle(quite different from pc i know), because of his tips, I was able to reach diamond from gold. Since then, pantheon has always been my first pick and I'm glad I learned from the best.
Hmm yess, if we are about to play champions or try, otp player are the best advice or to look up for, bcs they know well about the champ overall, and we can learn so much from it, even if different games, thanks tho, I'll watch some of his games, cuz I'm struggling if i get baron lane in wild rift, better play simple champ than difficult to play not a main lane champ

Panth is a simple champ in its core, but got enough outplay potential with his W E and can make use of good macro with R. Its a really good champ to one trick. Even ignoring that panth has the basically the coolest lore in the game.
Pantheon is my absolute favorite champion of the league. I used to play him (before his rework) as an otp and I used to surprise my opponent by maxing E first. Similar to what Spearshot says in keeping a circle distance and E people without being traded back. I literally played Pantheon as an assassin back then. Good old times!

I just started playing Panth with intention to main. I don't play ranked, so all games are basically random roles, and I can go Panth in any. Probably prefer mid-sup-jung-top-adc. Also, Zombie Slayer Pantheon is the best skin on league.
4:00 "My champion is broken!" So are all champions when mastered. Just look at ShenShan's Lee Sin, Zwag's Xerath, Azzap's Vel'koz, Solar Bacca's GP, I Keep it Taco's Jhin, Froggen's Anivia, ForgottenProject's Fiora, etc. A champion is either good or bad when played by normal players. What's a normal player? Any player that hasn't mastered said champion. For all intents and purposes, a player that has mastered a champion has reached a new realm of gameplay. At that point, you shouldn't play against it as if you're playing against "A champion", but against "THE champion" itself. Even challengers players are rarely aware of what that entails 😁.

I've never heard of Spear shot before and I used to play Pantheon top (Got Mastery 7 only playing that role), but watching him is giving me motivation to play him again in the top lane
I Play panth top and jungle in a lower elo of course but the thing about his Q is true, if your lane opponent gets in the range of it, you punish them for it, but you should also dodge the damages which would agitate some players into playing recklessly
ive always loved playing panth i agree with how he can be played in so many different ways and thats what i love about some champs, his kit has a little bit of everything
Yo Dong can you do an informational video about replay channels by any chance. For example channels like Challenger replay's or Domisum replay. They seems to be able to uplaod high elo replays with multiple channels for every champion at a large rate. Just wondering things about like who created each channel, is this a business, do they use employees to upload each replay, is this for profit or if these are just bots? Thought the idea would be cool for video ;)
I've been playing pantheon for around 30-40 games by now and I've played him only a couple times top and the tip about the circle and q was actually very nice and I understand more of how pantheon works after watching this video thanks

100 % - 30% = 70%,
70% - 30% = 49%
so it would shred 51% of the max armour.

Panth is a simple champ in its core, but got enough outplay potential with his W E and can make use of good macro with R. Its a really good champ to one trick.
Even ignoring that panth has the basically the coolest lore in the game.
And in my opinion, the best skin. Dragonslayer.

Pantheon is my absolute favorite champion of the league. I used to play him (before his rework) as an otp and I used to surprise my opponent by maxing E first. Similar to what Spearshot says in keeping a circle distance and E people without being traded back. I literally played Pantheon as an assassin back then. Good old times!

I just started playing Panth with intention to main. I don't play ranked, so all games are basically random roles, and I can go Panth in any. Probably prefer mid-sup-jung-top-adc.
Also, Zombie Slayer Pantheon is the best skin on league.

4:00 "My champion is broken!" So are all champions when mastered. Just look at ShenShan's Lee Sin, Zwag's Xerath, Azzap's Vel'koz, Solar Bacca's GP, I Keep it Taco's Jhin, Froggen's Anivia, ForgottenProject's Fiora, etc. A champion is either good or bad when played by normal players. What's a normal player? Any player that hasn't mastered said champion. For all intents and purposes, a player that has mastered a champion has reached a new realm of gameplay. At that point, you shouldn't play against it as if you're playing against "A champion", but against "THE champion" itself. Even challengers players are rarely aware of what that entails 😁.

I Play panth top and jungle in a lower elo of course but the thing about his Q is true, if your lane opponent gets in the range of it, you punish them for it, but you should also dodge the damages which would agitate some players into playing recklessly

Yo Dong can you do an informational video about replay channels by any chance. For example channels like Challenger replay's or Domisum replay. They seems to be able to uplaod high elo replays with multiple channels for every champion at a large rate. Just wondering things about like who created each channel, is this a business, do they use employees to upload each replay, is this for profit or if these are just bots? Thought the idea would be cool for video ;)
I've been playing pantheon for around 30-40 games by now and I've played him only a couple times top and the tip about the circle and q was actually very nice and I understand more of how pantheon works after watching this video thanks
