It’s not fanmade , the positions were given by the company since they debuted. Main is the highest and then lead and then sub, however everyone is equally loved in bts and those are just responsibilities/position

Because the positions may start one way but take on different structures throughout the dance.
But I would like to be educated as to where all this official info is.

Tae wasn't in the dance line at the point of debut. Positions can change.
@@sariel8406 he only joined the dance line, no other positions has changed. it only tells you that there is one main rapper (rm) and one main vocalist (jk) and the rest in the rap and vocal lines are lead and then hobi and jk are respectively sub vocalist and sub rapper, bc these are not their original positions.

My bias is V (Kim taehyung) but actually I love them all equally .. it's just V was the reason I got interested in BTS ..his deep voice his uniqueness his innocence and dedication ..but after I started knowing other members I started loving them too ..
BTS is literally made of 7 individual gifted artists which is why they're such a phenomenal group. Everything about them is limitless.
But you know what's even more important? They have amazing teamwork and a lot of mutual respect. A lot of talented people in the world can do wonders solo but don't work at all if you put them together.

There are a lot of talented artists out there but they are so not willing to share the limelight. See how many bands disbanded because as soon as they became big the 'main guy' goes solo leaving his band members behind. There's also no respect. Bts members love and respect each other that's why they have been so tight.

the terms "main" "lead" and "sub" had nothing to do with préferences and witch one is your favourite (or "bias") . It's the official position the Kpop entertainment compagnies give to each member of a Idol group when they created it. In BTS, you have the rap line : RM, Suga, J Hope, and the main rapper is RM; the lead is Suga (J Hope is also a sub vocalist). The vocal line : Jungkook, Jimin, Jin, V. The main vocalist is Jungkook (he is also a sub rapper) , Jimin is the lead vocalist. The dance line was originally : Jhope, Jimin and Jungkook (they are called "the 3J" ), V was added in 2018. J Hope and Jimin are both the main dancers (witch is not usual in Kpop band) but JHope also served as leader of the group when it came to dance and choregraphy. Jungkook is the lead dancer. But they are all incredibly talented, and they work hard to improved themselves et do always better !
They have all some solo songs in BTS albums, and some subunit performance : OUtro tear for exemple, (the video show you for RM présentation and JHope'one) , is a song for the rap line; House of card or The Truth untold are song for the vocal line (there"s more of course). The 3J have also some dance performance, espcially in the Festa (it's kinf of anniversary gift for Army, each year) . The 3 rappers have their mixtapes, and we are waiting for the vocalists stuff too, but they all have solo songs outside BTS (all free on soudclock) . I think this creative freedom they have both inside and outside the group is a part of their power, and longivity.
My ultimate bias is Jimin, he stole my heart and soul since the first second, but I love the seven of them. I'm 57 years old, I always enjoy music, ( specially Queen, Mettalica, Dire strait ) but I will never thought I can fall so deeply in love for a group that they become a part of my daily life ! I enjoy your reactions, et watching your journey with the Bangtan boys. Oh, and i recommend you to watch the docu série The Rise of Bangtan, the best ever to know the story of the group, the personnality of each members, where they come from, their thought and struggles etc. Sorry, I talk too much today Lol !

Jimin is my utt too. I felt in love for him at the first sight. And Iam 42. He is now my favourite singer in the world. I still don't know why I love him this much. I can't go 2 hours of my day without thinking of him. I love all the boys too. Iam always here for any one of them OT7.

Jimin is my ultimate bias and the other member is my bias wrecker, each one of them has special character that's why it's really hard to choose but Jimin is an angel .. he is very sweet and cute of course and then when he perform onstage he become another person.. You will understand soon hehhe

Just a little bit of update, Rm is currently the 2nd highest most credited Idols in KOMCA (Alongside Psy) with 180 songs credited to him.
RM & Suga also made their debut on Billboard chart of Hot 100 Songwriters as two of the top 10; RM #3, Suga #9

Jin is known for how his voice delivers his emotions. A lot of his songs like his recent ost “YOURS” is very full of emotions, even without knowing the lyrics. Knowing that he started dancing and singing with zero experience still amaze me! Anyways good video and love your reaction! Everyone agree that BTS' members know their own way to stand out and shine but still work as a group despite the differences in characters, ages, life styles, mindsets.
I love all members .for me all are important . I don't think I have to pick a favourite member from BTS. But Mr. Kim Namjoon just atole my heart bcoz of his 2018 UN speech 😭 I didn't die bcoz of him. I can't explain it with words. I survived bcoz of him & BTS songs. 💜 I can't imagine my life without my family and BTS.

All of our seven boys are too precious and it's really hard to make someone your bias. But Jin is my healer. He healed me with his solo song "Epiphany" when I was in depression and suicidal. That's why he is my healer and he is the reason why I became a army. ..

Main, lead, sub is just a way of distributing responsibilities based on their expertise. As you have noticed, each brings something to the table and is great in that. And what I love about them is how they learn from each other. I think that’s the reason they become soo good at so many different things!

My bias is Jin but I love all 7 with my whole heart
I love them all. I have 3. RM for sure for his brain; Jimin and V because they make me laugh and have such a unique loving friendship. V makes me laugh with all his visuals and bluntness and RM steps in to cover up what he says and they all laugh.
the positions aren't fan made, that's how kpop groups are structured to make it easier in distributing tasks. for example jungkook as a main vocalist often record guides to their songs and has credits in almost all their songs in choruses and harmonies, he also often sings or rap parts of the members that are not present for various reasons.
RM is main rapper and the rest of the rap line are called lead rappers and jungkook is a main vocalist while the rest of the vocal line are lead vocalists and then jungkook is sub rapper bc he can rap but his original position is a vocalist and j-hope is a sub vocalist bc he can sing, but his original position is in rap line
When Jin says he was 20/21 he is talking in Korean age, which is 1 or 2 years more than international age. He was 18 in International age when he joined Big Hit and started learning to sing.
I do love all of them they all have their own unique talents & personalities that make them super special BUT Jungkook is my ultimate bias…i was drawn to him from the beginning and that has not changed.

A fun fact is that the company didn’t promote it so really impressive and he is the second highest paid actor but unfortunately he only did one role !! They have the best of both world...the creative freedom to create/produce individually with various solo projects, but can still come together as a team as BTS. Their solo works/projects are released for FREE to ARMYs on their SoundCloud account. 💜

In Kpop, group does not have to be disband just because one of them want to do solo.. Unlike in the West, they always choose to disband because they want to be solo artist🤷♀.. In Kpop, all of them can still be in band/group while doing solo.. All BTS members has their own solo songs and all of them always support each other solo songs❤

All seven of them are insanely talented, hard-working and their love and passion for music is just unmatched. As an ARMY, you know that you could never have a best role model than them. They always go above and beyond, and you know they'll never disappoint you because everything they do comes from their heart.
My bias has been Jimin since debut, he totally stoles my heart, you'll never see a best performer than him. He has the voice of an angel, he moves like nobody I've ever seen. He trully deserves his title of King of Kpop.

When I was a baby Army I started by watching ARMY made TH-cam videos like “try not to laugh/fall in love with BTS”. It was just random that I started watching them & I started to like them because of their personalities. You get some groups that you can tell certain members don’t get along. But you can see each member interact & see the respect (RM & Suga actually have a song titled Respect on their album Map of the Soul: 7) they have for each other. After that I started getting into their music & noticed Mic Drop sounded familiar. I actually had it on an old playlist when the remix first dropped with desiigner & Steve Aoki. I realized all this time I could have been into BTS but it’s better late then never. I started down this rabbit hole in January 2019 & never regretted it.
Also my favorite songs to introduce to people are On but you saw that one. Daechwita by Suga(AgustD). There is a video by DKDKTV that explains the song. I would recommend you watch the video first the watch DKDKTVs explanation. The rap line will always be my favorites so their song Cypher pt 2, Ddaeng and Come Back Home are top of my list. My favorite ballad type songs are… uh hem…. Her Majesty the Queen “Spring Day” (reigned supreme on the Melon charts for years) & Truth Untold ( you’ll have to watch the live versions of both!) either way you’ll never pick the wrong song. It’s just what you vibe to the most will get you.

V & Jim are both born in '95. They are called the '95 duos. Their friendship started when they joined BTS. They were HS schoolmates and I believe they both take up the same course in college. They have a song "Friends" that talks about their friendship which is part of the recent Marvel movie. The song was inspired by their fight over "dumplings" or better known by the army's as "dumpling incident." V and Jimin called themselves soulmates. V and Jin made a song for the drama that V was in titled "Even If I Die" which was part of the ost of the drama.
I thought,and may well be wrong,that Jimin and Tae went to the same school in Seoul when they were trainees pre-debut.Jimin was only a trainee for 7 months and remained at school until 2014.
Tae didn't live in Busan,which is where Jimin spent most of his school life.

Thanks for selecting this particular introductory video, there are so many floating out there full of cringe inducing stereotypes about these guys, ton of vids can be infantile and reductionist in approach. Ida S videos are crazy good.
The bias thing, lol. Many people do not have one, some people have only one from the very start, and there are folks who constantly flip flop between all seven on weekly basis :-)
I have sold my soul to Mr. Min ( Suga aka AgustD, civil name Min Yoongi ) who is my ultimately ultimate bias and a spirit animal. My heart was snatched by the golden maknae himself, Jeon Jungkook who is today my wrecker. Those two are beyond special but the whole of BTS holds my heart in the palm of their hands:-) I do not follow or stan any other musical act out there as I do with them.
( .... do not be mistaken, their positions in the group are not fan made and they shouldn´t be viewed as "whatever, its not important"; each position comes with a very particular skill set you need to have and also with lots of extra work in that area, not to even mention enormous responsibility.... )

No need to apologize, its all good, you are new to Bangtan but you seem to be very sincere and kind hearted. Just be aware that there is lot of misconceptions and false rumors spread about the guys. Some have stuck with them unfortunately to these days. Positions are very much valid and all Kpop acts operate similarly with positions firmly assigned. The members themselves use them frequently as well ( in interviews, in Q&R segments etc). It is just that some solo fans ( people who are favoring one and one only, a sad side to all of Kpop unfortunately) try really hard to make it look like the positions are not important or are outlived or should be erased because of envy and jealousy. Sorry, you barely started on your journey of discovery but you should be aware of this thing too, its very much present and although the BTS members themselves are like brothers and support each other without reservation, subgroups within the fandom can be at each other´s throats at times. Don´t get discouraged, just keep on doing your thing and keep your common sense, eyes and ears open:-)
If you eventually fall hard for them, I promise you will know everything soon yourself :-) Their characters will open up for you, and the same happens with their skills :-)

The rankings go Main then Lead, thats not preferential. So Jungkook is the Main vocalist and Lead dancer while Jimin is the Lead vocalist and Main dancer. In all honesty there is no sole member that stands out over the others, they're all actually very evenly split. They're all multitalented, and have solo ventures while still being part of BTS. Like all the rappers have their own mixtapes they've released, the vocalists have all had solo singles that have been part of BTS' album or just dropped on their own. They all have their own expertise within performance and songwriting that kinda allows for them to excel in the way they have.
JK is the main vocalist, he's always ad-libbing, riffing, and handling a lot of the choruses. He has an absolute killer voice.
Jimin is the lead vocalist, known for the high notes (he's a pure tenor and his voice is very unique so it tends to cut through the melody quite often)
Jin in my opinion, has the best belts. He can hold a sustained note like nobodies business, and his vocal range is ridiculously impressive.
V is the groups baritone, his tonal quality is also very unique. He often handles bridges cuz his voice has this ability to just pull it all together

BTS are 7 total, however we can see them as subunits as well:
Rap line: RM, Suga & JHope
Vocal line: Jin, Jimin, V & Jungkook
Dance line
Hyung line (older members)
Maknae line (younger members) etc...
Dance line is J-Hope, Jimin, Jungkook, and V.

I think it's soo hard to pick just one member when all 7 of them are so incredibly talented in their own right and often explore different musical and artistic directions on their own and seem like personalities you would just adore to have as friends :D I'm ARMY since 2013 and in the beginning it changed almost daily for me, but somewhere along the way j-hope manifested as my ultimate bias and it never changed again. Though I can't escape feeling bias-wracked all the time when there are 6 more amazing members haha. Hoping you can do some live performances soon, they are insaneee :)

Tickets for LA concert go from $60 to & 2000 the average price from around $250 to $750 . I check Swift, Adele One direct( which cost the most), And that is the normal price range . But the others’ concert go for 1 1/4 to 1 3/4hrs BTS concert normal concert goes up to 3 hrs.

❣️I am 60 yrs. old & just adore these guys and everything they do plus everything they stand for. I’ve danced most of my life that’s what started me watching them. They are such a class act, truly genuine...GENUINE artists! Their hearts are full of love, kindness, respect, honor & understanding for us and themselves. They always send a positive message in whatever they do. Something that we all desperately need. For them it’s not about SEX, ANGER, TOUGHNESS, or $$$. They hope to inspire and to bring peace and unity to the world. So yeah, I’m hooked and ARMY proud! They brought dancing back into my life and I remember what it feels like to be young and have passion. They gave that back to me… my center. 🌟

When I saw them, tickets were from just under £50 up to almost £200, so R1000 to around R4000 - the biggest problem is getting a good seat - they sell out so so fast, Wembley sold out in like minutes - they added an extra date on and that is how I managed to get tickets.
For me, I also had flights to pay for, though I was lucky enough to stay with my sister, and I didn’t need a visa as I have a Brit passport…
If they ever come to SA, I am selling whatever I have to (even a kidney 🙈) - I want the very best seat, VIP with soundcheck etc, and I don’t care what it costs…😳😳😳
It’s the experience of a lifetime, I have never been to any other concert like it - the vibe, the excitement, the love, the noise - it’s insane. My Army bomb broke on the flight home tho, and I was devastated - I still don’t have a replacement 💔😢 As I’m sure you can tell, it still sticks in my throat 😡
Many of the members dabble with instruments, but Suga is the only one that is really proficient - he is an accomplished pianist. Jin and Jungkook are probably the next best, then Tae (V).
The three rappers are the only ones with solo mixtapes out (available for free on SoundCloud). All seven have solo songs on various BTS albums tho - although they are solo songs, they are credited to BTS as the artist.

I paid 75$ for my ticket for the upcoming LA concert. My daughter had a ticket from the cancelled MOTS7 tour, luckily that gave us the preorder option, which is good because even so we almost couldn't get tickets. We could literally see seats disappearing as we tried clicking on them. Luckily we got our 3 tickets but sadly none of us are sitting together ☹️. Ever since I discovered them in 2019 I've wanted to go to a concert because they literally changed my life. I never thought I'd be able to but somehow we made it happen. And I'm super grateful for the opportunity. I haven't been to a major concert in 20 years, and I'm nervous and daunted because they're so huge. It feels like I'm seeing the Beatles only even better. To those of you who have been to a concert, how early should we arrive? We aren't at the barricade so shouldn't be too bad right? 💜
@@pslinky that is not a bad price at all. You will have a brilliant time. I also got to pre-order back in 2019 when I saw them, as I am official Army and they always allow for official members to get pre-sale tickets, but yes, they went so fast, literally disappearing as I was trying to buy - that is why I ended up much further from the stage than I wanted. The experience was still totally amazing. There will be queues, and they have to verify your ticket etc, plus there are usually concession stands, refreshments, merch stands, and like places to do photos etc. it’s a good idea to arrive a few hours early to explore and get in the queue early - it moves quickly though, once it gets going - they are really organised (or they were when I went). I would suggest getting there at least 2 hours before, and longer if you want to explore and buy stuff as there will be queues to purchase things too. Make sure you leave enough time to find parking for your car if you are driving, and walk to the stadium - I didn’t have that problem, but the only time I was in LA they didn’t have great public transport, I’m assuming that hasn’t changed… Also look out for any fan projects - they are (they used to be) a lot of fun to get involved with and the members get so touched. Bring tissues - you will cry and cry. Also have lots of water to drink, and wear comfortable shoes, you will be in your feet a lot.
I am so happy for you - but a little jealous too - these LA concerts will be even more special because of the pandemic. Please give them lots of noise, love, and support from all us Army who can’t be there 💜💜🙏 Have a ball - that is the most important thing!! Do not be daunted - it is all very easy, just be sure to get there early enough - you don’t want to still be in the queue when the concert starts.
@@allisonB123 thank you! I had to get like, the worst seats (but who cares, I'll be there) but we are in New Mexico and have to fly to LA so I couldn't afford awesome seats. I'll be either using an Uber or my friend has family who may drive up to eat with us and give us a ride. I'm sorry you can't go and I'm sorry for all ARMYs who can't. I almost never talk about it in comments because I don't want to "rub it in" or make anyone sad by going off about seeing them. I just had to ask some questions because I'm super nervous about the trip, the crowds etc (I'm an anxious introvert lol) I figured about 2 hours early so ty for confirming. Luckily SoFi stadium is new and state of the art so I'm hoping it'll be really efficient. I hope there are fan projects, I've always seen ARMYs go and do all the cute little things, and wanted to be a part of it. Luckily, aside from the random toxic fan, ARMYs are the greatest fandom in the world and I'm always amazed at how lovely and helpful and sweet everyone is! So I know despite my worries it'll be an amazing experience. I wish I were sitting with my kid and my friend (we are close but it's gonna be hard, my daughter and I grab each other and play hit from excitement whenever we even watch mv's lol so I wish we could sit together for that but maybe I'll get a nice ARMY sitting next to me who will spaz with me 😂 in reality we will all be freaking out anyway. Sorry for rambling lol and ty for being kind and helpful 💜 I hope you can see them soon as well 🙂

@@pslinky you aren’t by any means “rubbing it in” - you have a right to be over the moon and excited - you are gonna see BTS LIVE!!! This is a huge event. You will never, ever forget it. It is not your fault we had a pandemic and BTS could not tour and perform. It is also not your fault they are only doing shows in LA for now. It’s just the luck of the universe and you must enjoy - I think they will squeeze in a few more dates early next year, around North America, South America, and maybe a bit of Europe - and Asia of course. But Jin will have to go to the army sometime in 2022, and the others may decide to go at the same time, so I think it won’t be a full tour - maybe just for three months or so…? I am just guessing.
I hope they tour again as soon as Jin/they are out of the army - although Jin will be 32 then, I am sure they will be fit enough to still enjoy doing concerts - then maybe I can see them again 🙏🙏🤷♂️ But at least I saw them once - every Army should be able to see them at least once - I had a crappy seat too, but it was still brilliant. Army is an awesome fandom, my sister and I bopped and screamed and laughed and cried the whole time, and made friends with the army around us - it was amazing, the love and fellowship is inspiring - I am also an introvert but the adrenaline really spikes when they are onstage 🤷♂️💜💜 sending love and best wishes for a wonderful experience to you, your daughter, and your friend.

Suga is my bias. Dude is just amazing. He is a great producer, has been producing songs even before joining BTS. and started making music at 13. He is just really really passionate when it comes to music. He has the most producing credits out of them all and he produces songs for Japanese, Korean and western artists and won awards for producing. His rap is amazing too, he's the best🤧 and it is just so good that he makes his own beats. He's so talented and I always connect to his lyrics.
They are surely 7 individual different TALENTS which united as ONE forming a single soul called BTS.

Reading why they were only 3 on the stage was because the song Tear is written for the 3 (rapline) you will sometimes see them in pairs of 4, 3 or 2 meaning they wrote the songs together and so on if they are alone they sing their solo songs it's not often but they do them

Thanks for the react. Concert tickets for Nov/Dec 2021 in LA cost $60 in the nosebleeds up to $500 or so for best seats/floor. However Ticketmaster let scalpers grab seats and their costs are ridiculously hiked up to many thousands. Most ARMYs holding out till scalpers are forced to drop prices or lose out.
