you are using turreted weapons... on the most agile ship in the galaxy... why... just why... that painful thought aside, those 2 multicannons ain't gonna do squat against anytin' medium size, way to little armour penetration, cannons (or railguns if you wanna cook yourself a bit every time you fire) would do better and could destroy modules instead of only damaging bulks, also a shield booster is crap on an eagle especially with bi waves, a shield booster will make shield recharge longer, so you have to run away waiting for shields instead of just popping a chaff and parking on the enemie 6'th, you could also downsize sensors to D, cuz you dont rly need a big scan arc (again eagle can run fixed weapons easy cuz its so agile, you rly shouldn't be loosing sight pictue in pve) but that isnt that big of a deal, tho it would help with power draw you mostly have hull reinforcements so your power plant can be easily damaged and your shields and other carp is gonna go to hell. anyway, form the way you fly I can see youre new to the galaxy so keep on improving and fly dangerous, o7 cmdr.
Yes Commander, I started playing Elite 6 months ago and just bought the Type 10 defender and I'm excited to check it out, thank you for the tips, i'm currently testing various modules and weapons on my ships and any advice is more than welcome 😀, so commander what is your opinion on the Type 10, and which weapon modules do you prefer?
@@DeepSpaceMystery Sorry but the loadout makes zero sense. Only good for fighting harmless bots who don’t shoot back! Mix of turrets being used as fixed weapons (🤷🏼♂️) and one gimballed. No enhanced thrusters 🤷 No engineer enhancements as far as I could tell. This eagle could be defeated by a hauler with one dumb fire missile rack. Just don’t know why it was even worth sharing!
@tarkadal5563 Thanks for your feedback! I appreciate your perspective on the loadout. I understand it might not seem optimal for all situations, but I wanted to showcase a different approach to gameplay. Everyone has their own strategies, and I’m always open to suggestions! What loadout do you think would work better in this scenario?
@@DeepSpaceMystery I’m not going to press this but my point is that it is a bad build. Objectively speaking. In every conceivable way. There’s no strategy to buying more costly, more power hungry, lower damage output turrets and then using them as fixed weapons anyway. And on the most manoeuvrable ship in the game of all things. The only thing showcased was how to miss the target and how not to build a ship!
@tarkadal5563 Fair points, Commander! The Eagle definitely deserves some love beyond just spraying the stars with laser beams! I wanted to keep the build lighthearted and playful, but I get where you’re coming from on efficiency. Think of this one as a 'creative experiment'-a kind of 'how to miss a target in style!' 😅 Next time, I'll make sure to keep the nimble bird ready to dance and sting. Appreciate the feedback, and stay tuned for a more ‘on-target’ build!
