See you in pdx Nahko ( nov 14 ) 🙌 I have healed through your music the last 5 years but the kicker is I heard you sing before you were bigger and I had no idea until about a year ago when my brother and I were reminiscing about his time living in Ashland. Wow it hit me heavy. Remembering you signing with Mary and Mariko and the rest of the girls. Oh my heart. Thank you for being you. Healing is difficult but your music reminds me that I am not alone!
I needed this today for real 🙏,just wanted you to know how much you have meant in my life.much love from Utah brother one day we will Collab I promise..
I was going through a hard time, I was in a rehab, recovering from almost two decades of opioid addiction I was very apathetic, and hopeless, and someone turned me on to “Aloha Ke Akua”, and for the first time in a very long time, I felt the emotion of hope arise within my experience, It broke my rigid shell, and I felt a tear slide down my cheek. After that I became very open to the mindfulness and meditation classes that they offered, now I have been sober for 3 years, and have been going through an amazing spiritual awakening process, I also love “We Are On Time”, and all of Nakho’s music. Thank you Nakho, and Medicine for the people.
Yay 🎉 I am so happy to hear that you are 3 years sober! Congratulations!!! 💐 👏 That is such a feat. Takes a true warrior with a strong spirit ❤️ much love and many blessings to you ❤
I was in a rehab as well. And instead of painting/drawing to leave on the wall in one of the rooms, I wrote four Nahko songs down and mentioned it's one of my most potent medicines.
Nahko DEAR BROTHER has become an anthem when the swirl of the world is too much. I love the album overall but if I need some overcharged musical healing I play Defend the sacred, Dear Brother, Part of the Problem and Skin in the Game. And if I only play one it's Dear Brother. I've said it multiple times now but FOR REAL....THANK YOU!❤❤❤
Great interview! Felt like i learned Nahkos story more in-depth here. Really enjoyed listening to the full podcast. Some really good advice & truths in here. Few things that stuck out for me.... 1st Many Lives Many Masters was a intricate piece of my journey as well, love that book. 2nd when Nahko spoke of what keeps him going, bending the rules & understanding what life throws at you. This piece spoke profoundly to me right now. The wrong decisions that so often do not work out in your favor are easy to make much of the time. The right thing to do is also much of the time the harder thing to do. It takes more time & effort both. But usually the reward is much greater & in your favor 😊 3rd the impact it can have to have a fan base with such grandiose ideas of who you are & expectations they place on you cuz of assumptions from how they connected to your music. Jiminy Cricket... What a huge freaking thing to have to deal with. Your a rockstar Nahko! I discovered Nahko almost 10 years ago while goin thru a very rough divorce. I was played Aloha & one in the chamber then spent that whole night up goin down a nahko 🐇 🕳️!!!! Then made my friend burn me his first 2 albums & listened to nothing else for at least 6 months 🥰 his music gave me so much healing at that time. The assumtions i made about him was that he was insanely musicly talented, he had a good heart and that he was a goofball 🤪 also that he seemed to be searching...one thing, of many, that i think made me feels instantly connected to his music 🎶 Lastly kids can definitely say things that hit different, especially when its a hard truth. My son said to me a month or two ago, "Mom, aren't you tired?" "Tired of what bud?" "Living your life on the edge. Don't you get tired of it?" OMFG 🙄🤣 my boy is very intuitive & randomly says profound sh*t that smaks me in the face & spins my head from time to time lol Love him SO MUCH!! kk much Love to all. I obviouslys gots too much time on my hands 😬 ✌️ oh yea, good Trump 🫶🤣 keep bein you Nahko cuz your the sh*t booboo 🎶 🎸 🔥 🎹 🍓
Thank you Nahko Bear for your gift that has helped me heal. I was racing not to be late like the Rabbit in Alice in Wonderland in Bellingen 2023 The Land Down Under. Nahko Your reply, Right on Time. Bless you Prayers for your continued walk and your helaing energy and profound experience of acceptance as is. Medicine tribe.
Thank you for having Nahko Bear on for an interview!!!!! The music he's been a part of creating has been a part of more moments of healing than i can express. Budding Trees was my first experience and in hindsight it sparked an internal revolution. Its still one of my favorite songs to this day.
Nahko Bear THANK YOU for still making music after that shit storm. I don't give a fuck what your scars and "bad" actions are... I see your light and growth as best i can as an outsider. Namaste brother❤
A beautiful podcast with Nahko 🐻✨️🤎 just wish the interviewer listen more of what Nahko was saying diving deeper into what he said rather than instantly relating to his own past and telling his story 🤦♀️ had to really skip when he was talking cus it got annoying bcs it just felt like you ignored what Nahko just shared literally from his heart 😒
Had a great time chatting, Aaron. Thanks for the opportunity! xo

Yeah brother! Sharing joy for your recovery and journey!
I'm so glad you are sharing, and are intentionally working on you. Great job, and keep going! As Nahko said here, "I am enough, and I can do better!"

This is one of the best interviews. You did a great job dancing with one another in the conversation. Thank you so much ☺️
My man Aaron came in clutch with this interview with the big bro 🐻 ty Aaron and Nahko
I always love hearing what you have to share nahko. I needed this
