Trailer Safety Series - Dump Trailer Maintenance

This week, in our continuing PJ Trailer Safety Series, we discuss how to properly maintain and inspect your PJ Dump trailer.
Here we focus on the importance of pre-haul visual inspection, checking tire pressure, and visually inspecting the hitch-ball, locking device, safety chains, and coupler system for cracks or compromising damage. We also explain how to visually inspect your hydraulic pump and lines for leaks.
We go in-depth on dump trailer maintenance and what you should inspect every 6 months or 6,000 miles and every year or 12,000 miles.
