  • This week’s trailer is the all new HD Low-Pro Dump (DE). This 16’ heavy-duty Dump boasts a 20,000 lb. GVWR and is built on a robust 10” I-beam frame with two 10,000 lb. torsion axles. With a load capacity of 14,380 pounds and a dump volume of 12.22 cubic yards, this trailer is ideal for hauling heavy-duty equipment, aggregate, or other loose materials.
    This DE is equipped with a 25,000 pound gooseneck coupler. It is also available in a 20,000 pound Demco bumper-pull configuration or a 36,000 pound pintle configuration for industrial and farm use.
    The DE is constructed on a robust 10 inch by 19 pound I-beam mainframe and neck. This provides additional structural rigidity to stand up to heavy-duty hauling. The DE comes standard with a PJ all-weather 7-way wiring harness and a lockable front toolbox.
    This trailer is equipped with two Pro Series, 10K, spring-loaded Drop Leg Jacks that quickly retract at the pull of a pin for quicker hitching.
    The bed is constructed of durable, 7-gauge, American-made steel. The bed sides are 36 inches high. This trailer also comes standard with a tarp kit to help keep materials and debris from blowing out in transit. The bed is lifted to a 40 degree dump angle by a robust 6 by 21 inch hydraulic cylinder and scissor lift. The DE’s bed is constructed on 3 inch channel cross members on 16 inch centers for even more structural rigidity.
    The running gear consists of 18 ply 235/75 R17.5 tires on 10K Dexter Torsion axles. These torsion axles have no springs and are mounted directly to the frame. This increases strength and reduces flex under more stressful loads.
    The rear of the trailer has a two-way spreader gate/barn door that allows you to spread or dump material. This DE also comes standard with rear slide-in ramps that assist with the loading of equipment.
    The bed of the DE is 82.5 inches wide to accommodate the loading of wider equipment and comes standard with 4 D-rings welded to the steel sides to secure machinery, cargo, or palleted materials. The low, 26 inch bed height is complimented with 6.5’ rear slide-in channel ramps. This combination helps to reduce the load angle and makes it safer and easier to load low clearance equipment.

    Bada** trailer. Think I might get one too. I wish PJ would let customers buy direct from the factory. The PJ dealers in Iowa are a joke.

      @@Pachecododge Dexter Torsion axles come with a Ten Year warranty and can outperform sprung axles.

      Been using torsion axles on horse trailers for years. Sure, eventually they may let go but probably last as long or longer than springs. They allow a lower profile and if horse people use them you know they provide a good ride.

      So at 6k that makes a 14k payload or or 5ish yards of gravel/stone?

      @The Way I Do It
      Don't buy one. I couldn't get mine e to dump a load of construction cleanup material that my 14k loadtrail can dump everyday all day.
