    Some people don’t like Stablers character but I love his character, he cared a lot about each case even though he had problems he works in SVU which can take a toll, working around scum everyday and seeing/hearing the unimaginable to people. Especially when it comes to children, stabler loses his Temper but I don’t blame him, it’s unimaginable to work in a environment where you hear and see these things horrible people have done to children
    Edit: Also stabler has children of his own, so it makes him more protective of his children, sometimes he may seem unfair to them but I understand why he’s so protective of them, because he couldn’t bear having something happen to his kids

    • @EeveelutionStorm
      @EeveelutionStorm ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Stabler also is incredible when working with kids. He was basically a surrogate Dad to the kids they had to work with and his interactions with them were always wholesome. In "Birthright" when he's showing Patricia Branson the way the one way mirror works and assuring her, that the "Bad man" can't see her is heartwarming.

      I started watching SVU for the first time starting 2 yrs ago. 2 yrs, which is the same time ago you made this comment. While you are right about Stabler in that regard of the things he has dealt with while on this job and how it can have a emotional and psychological toll on anyone, I still can’t help but hold a little bit of dislike for this guy of the things he has done. Not to mention some of the innocent people he had put away; which was caused because of how emotional he got.

    We need more of that anger. I know losing your temper is kinda looked down upon, but this is some sick freak taking photos of little girls. Who *wouldn't* lose it??

    • @yucol5661
      @yucol5661 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Meh. People think loosing your temper or having strong honest feelings means you are really motivated and will do something to create change or improve things. That’s a lie. Plenty of people get angry and outraged and then sit back down with a nice warm feeling in their belies. Righteous anger is cathartic. But it doesn’t magically mean the person feeling these righteous thoughts will help any victim or will even report any crime if god forbid it happens to them.
      It just means they know it’s wrong and they have very strong opinions about how abhorrent hurting a child is. Which is good, better than apathy. But it’s not on the level of people who actually have the balls to believe their child or take them to a police station and take them through a slow legal process and through years of Theraphy. It’s not on the level of people who swallow their embarrassment and talk to children about what sexual abuse is and have the patience to explain to them why it’s wrong in an age appropriate maner. It’s not on the level of propel who swallow their feelings and accept that maybe they need to distance themselves from a person or group that covered a crime. It’s the difference between actually helping people vs just feeling justice-y thoughts for them for them and making lots of big statements.

Double UGH! - - How does that work if you are on a business trip like "The Yachtsmen" and commit a U.S. crime in a foreign country? In Holland they have drugs on restaurant menus that are considered illegal in the U.S. but perfectly legal in that country. Do you get fired once you return home? Can you use the argument that it's legal where I took the drugs? Same goes for that disgustingness The Yachtsmen did in Cuba.
