The potion is actually a call back to Ep 3. It's one of the things that Fern remembers Frieren buying when thinking back to all the unnecessary things she uses their money on.
I think the Hero's Sword is actually meant for another, bigger threat that happens in the future, which is why Himmel couldn't pull the sword out. It was never meant for defeating the Demon King to begin with
So recent thought... We first heard about the clothes dissolving potion in the arc where Frieren gets Fern a birthday gift. I'm wondering if Frieren had planned to give it to Fern for her birthday but didn't because Fern saw she had it and made it clear she found it distasteful. Somehow I doubt Frieren understands why Flamme suggested it as a good gift idea.
The true Hero is the one who fails to pull the sword yet continues to be a Hero anyway. At least, that's my current theory about the sword, that it is a test to sift through the pretenders to find the real heroes in any generation.
Like many people say, Himmel wasn't the chosen hero, but he CHOSE to become the hero the world needed. Lmfao random bunny hoppin in the background after you said Stark got the hops 😂 I'm going to name that bunny Stark from now on.
i think the only man who deserved to be a hero for stark is his brother Himmel was not the chosen one, he choose to be one. Eisens voicelines are the best

and told her to take it back
Stoltz gets like 15 seconds of screen time but he really makes you feel like he could have pulled that sword out of the stone.
That’s right. He possibly could have been a greater Hero than Himmel if he was still alive. But he gave his life away to protect his brother

I love that so much more than the chosen hero trope tbh and LOL my bunnies are always such rascals at night
I'll admit, for a couple seconds I thought "That's a weird looking cat" before realizing what it was.

Little cute chief.. but, maybe elder people are passed away. For some reason. Their village is always atacked by monsters.
ah yea it seems the sword draws the monsters to them
The middle episodes are more emotional and story driven until the build up… I’m curious if you’ll get more emotional with it…
FYI. I just watched ep. 7 of DanDaDan. I got teary eyed like you did here. It’s a masterpiece and will break the anime world. It’s top notch.
oh I def will get emotional with it hahaha

"You have to live."

シュタルクが弱いと思われてた村とかどんな集団なんだろうな・・・戦士レベル50くらいの奴がゴロゴロ居たのかな

It's good you notice the details. They always come back in later episodes.
