Thanks for this with the opening and closing. I watch them as they are released. As I watch TS I rack my brain thinking who could replicate Tom's format and do it well. I think Colbert and C Ferguson would enjoy Tom's show structure and guest selection.
@@tagmisterb Craig also straight up did a "tribute" episode of sorts of the Late Late Show to Tom Snyder's era, by having no studio audience, and having Stephen Fry as the only guest.
I'll take all the Roger you got.
Snyder and Ebert. Two of the greats. Much intellegent entertainment. RIP to both.
And Ebert was right about Saving Private Ryan.
I really miss Roger.
I loved watching the Late show with Tom Snyder. SNL skits on Tom were also hilarious.
I’ve never seen Ebert address Goldberg’s mention of Siskel. It’s nice to see finallt

Ferguson did take a crack at it that one time he devoted a whole episode to a conversation with Desmond Tutu.
@@tagmisterb I believe he got an Emmy for it.

@johnnash297 Peabody, not Emmy. His one Emmy nomination for LLS was the episode where he devoted the monologue to his father.
16:48 - Pretty much no one thought that, except maybe Snyder himself. This was a race between Dench and Bates.
10:20 😂
