I love Tom Snyder! It's 2024, we had an eclipse this year. We lost Tom, sadly gone too soon in 2007 and sadly lost David Horowitz in 2019. This show aired in 1994.
Without a doubt, Tom Snyder was by far the greatest TV interviewer of all time. -You always felt he was talking directly to you. In our current world of mediocrity, Tom is sorely, sorely missed. i
It’s takes a solid broadcaster to do this alone…..I love watching and listening to Tom, in my opinion, the greatest broadcaster of all of time………that jazz in between segments makes my day…….
I aways watched both Dave and T.S. and always felt that together, were the best two hours of Late Night Broadcast Television. I always wondered if Tom would have preferred to remain at CNBC?
That's a great question..Going to CBS definitely added a lot of pressure..I listened to a podcast of Letterman's old producer and he said Tom didn't rise to the occasion, basically got lazy, didn't try hard enough etc. Tom ended up retiring a year early as he knew the bosses at CBS wanted to replace him with someone younger and hungrier. Still, going back to CNBC I thought that was a perfect gig for Tom, a decent cable show with very little pressure..if Larry King's guest was boring you could just flip the channel to Tom and get a few laughs.

What a delight to stumble across Tom AND David. I loved both and laughed here with their jokes.
Tom is so genuine. Great that so much of his work is on TH-cam.
He was always so genuine with his guests. Extremely interesting host. Miss you Tom.
Kevin, you are doing us a HUGE SERVICE, by uploading these gems….

TS was a pro. This particular evening, he was at his very best.
thank you so much for these!
I loved Snyder in the late '90s, when I did my undergrad degrees. Loved getting into bed and listen to him talk. He talked to you.
Looks like those degrees did a lot for you! Yur spalling is graat mann.
One of the best without any doubt.
Thanks for the uploads! Love TS!
David Niven’s second book was called Send In The Empty Horses.
Tom, you are very much missed and I am sorry that you did not have more yrs to enjoy your retirement, Tom was 71 when he passed. Rest In Peace Tom.
One of a kind.
I wish I could have seen all the shows Tom did on this night, especially the rest of Diana Jordan's interview.
Me too. I recorded bits of his interviews on his own CNBC series.
The sex show with that pervert came on after TS, but that show was produced in New Jersey. LOL. I'm being funny. Or not.
Loved "Fight Back" with David Horowitz. I learned early that you can't trust anyone.
But you trust his opinion?
@@marbury2403 It was a simpler time.
the Sally Field movie that Tom is referring to at the prop warehouse is Places In The Heart. great film.
T.S. was always at his best when his show was "Live." Geraldo had a great show on CNBC! LOL. Thanks for sharing.
R I P to all of them .
Fritz Coleman is still alive.
7:45 perhaps the only time Mark Kennedy was shown on the air. You could always hear him. Wonder what he is doing nowadays.
Fritz Coleman is the Richard Belzer of weather and comedy.
Thank you!! I absolutely KNEW Coleman resembled someone I'd seen in comedy, but I couldn't put my finger on it.
