Seth is a chip off the old block, great job Seth keep it up. Most of us who have watched from the beginning has seen you grow up into a great young man.
Many advanced power tools that enable easy accomplishment of various kinds of job. Many other "toys" too are there for easy accomplishment of outdoor jobs such as mini tractor, mini bulldozer, .... Life is there very-very fun. Beautiful family.
Please please please put some caps over the ends of the rebar sticking up ( havent watched entire video yet incase you did ) it only takes a slip or trip and you have someone impaled on the metal work. Trust me when i say the time it takes for emergency services to get to you WILL be the longest wait of your life, time will seem to be stopped and i cant stress enough just how stressful it is being left feeling hopeless to do anything whilst a life potentially slips away in front of your very eyes. Sorry if you feel it is over dramatic but i can only say that once you see it happen in person it NEVER leaves your mind afterwards
I mentioned that in an earlier video and was ignored. Plus grinding the concrete level is a total waste of time and unnecessary even for a novice. But hey, they don't care for criticism even when it's constructive criticism.
@@dcrahn Having missed a few videos with being busy i saw the video posted and saw this today the first time so didnt realise it had been brought up previously. I would've said it before had i seen it anyway, it brings chills through my body every time having seen it first hand it disturbs me every time. One can only hope something is done or nobody gets killed if they don't, it's generally those who think" it won't happen to me " who it happens to.
To cap the rebar for safety you can cut pcs of 2x4 and drill hole half way through a bit smaller then the rebar and just drive them on with hammer, all you need is like 2x2 pcs , love your show
Don't need to grind it. You will be putting down a mortar bed there for your stem wall. Also, a helpful tip......take your used auto motor oil and put on a rag. Wipe down the inside of the form boards with a rag soaked in that oil when you do the forms for garage. Doesn't have to be heavily wiped on board. Great release agent. Make sure you do it AFTER you install all rebar. That way you keep the oil off of the rebar. And next time, add a small 2'3" piece of 1x2 under those cross braces so you can use trowel under them to smooth concrete. You won't need to grind concrete that way. Hope these help.
My chickens still make a huge mess with those. What has worked very very well for me is using auto dog feeders with the 5 gal bucket that you flip over.
If you take a plastic coffee can lid and cut 2 notches on either side where the handle is, it caps off the top of the feeder so mice can not fall in and eat all they want. ( metal feeder)
Instead of making Double work for yourselves, before starting, have a box for the screws, another for the wood braces, from the top of the rebar, that way when you finished the job you dont have to go around collecting all the screws and picking up all the wood braces.
Hey Guys! If I was you I would go rent or buy a framing nail gun and use that to put up the forms. It makes it easer to take the forms apart after you are done. especially when you get concrete on the heads. The nail gun will make putting up the framing and the sheeting a lot faster and easier. Just a little food for thought.
In my area we have forms called form a drain at least that's what I call it. It a form and French drain in one once you pour the concrete you leave it there. Connect it to your drain pipe two steps in one. I found a product called the perfect block from Arizona it's a insulation form. They said it's a R40 rating if I ever get around to build a new home I'm thinking of using it. Your channel is one of the ones I have to see as soon It comes out.
I never liked concreting it is heavy, wet, messy and required constant attention till done. Good job Seth you are a real worker. You too Julie is there anything you cannot do?
Wow! Nice footers! Very inspiring : ) and I have chickens too. They are so cute & playful pets as well as egg layers : ) I also have something similar for feeding especially granite too.
Next time you do concrete work with rebars sticking up, put on plastic safety caps on the tops of them. It will stop someone from falling on them, ask safety Sally! I was watching your love ones leaning over them while removing the boards. All it takes it one slip and you would be at the hospital or at the other place you do not want to be at!
If you put your new waterer up on a concrete block it will help cut down on the dirt your getting in it. That's what I had to do to mine to keep the dirt and debris out until I built new waterers with nipples.
Thank you for share the video, Johnson family ^_^ Very nice in your every work guys, and very inspiring for us to strive our dreams also :) Christ bless all of you always guys, and keepsm:)ng...
Check out Adler Farms on You Tube he bought this chicken feeder that holds quite a bit of food, and when the chickens step on the bar the food comes down. And it won't get wet when it rains or snows. If this feeder doesn't work great check his feeder out.

Life is there very-very fun.
Beautiful family.
I would cover those rebar post sticken up, just in case someone would fall on them. They make an orange cap for this. Please be safe.
I think it's time for Seth to have own youtube channel 😁

Semangat pak martin . Satu keluarga berbakat sebagai tukang kontruksi . Calon arsitek
Yeay ... Seth is talking in front of the camera ... 👍
I think you can also hang the white and red waterer which will reduce getting dirt in it. It doesn’t need to be but 2 or 3” off the ground.
I thank the good lord for good people like you'll I pray his blessings upon you'll in jesus name

I was thinking the same thing the whole way!

I thought that as soon as I saw it, it sent shivers down my spine and scrolled past it, it was too difficult to watch.
That was a great comment! Loved it. Won’t follow the advice but loved the comment. Thank you.

Wow excellent
Working hard during time, Seth is growing adult.
Really

Awesome!!
Love and Hugs from Sapulpa Oklahoma
Nice building......
5:25 First time Martin with a mask! Keep using it with all the dust.
There was no "yesterday's video to miss" .. there was only Martin's commercial about the tent.
My chickens still make a huge mess with those. What has worked very very well for me is using auto dog feeders with the 5 gal bucket that you flip over.
Thanks! I'll give it a bit and see how my chickens are doing with it.
If you use a concrete brick or a rubbing stone while the concrete is still green , you can smoth out the rough spots easily!
If you take a plastic coffee can lid and cut 2 notches on either side where the handle is, it caps off the top of the feeder so mice can not fall in and eat all they want. ( metal feeder)
Seth is a little man already!
55gl water drum with feeder cups in it works perfect for chickens.
Instead of making Double work for yourselves, before starting, have a box for the screws, another for the wood braces, from the top of the rebar, that way when you finished the job you dont have to go around collecting all the screws and picking up all the wood braces.

Vocês estão realizando o sonho de muitos como eu e minha esposa de ir morar no interior.
Deus abençoe sempre a familia de vocês.
hopefully you kept the concrete moist for the first few days as it helps it be strong
Good job pak

Thanks for the suggestions. We were thinking the same thing! :)
You should check out Keeping It Dutch. He has a cool watering system for his meat birds.
putting the waterer on a couple of bricks or elevating it will keep some of the dirt out of the tray
If you put your new waterer up on a concrete block it will help cut down on the dirt your getting in it. That's what I had to do to mine to keep the dirt and debris out until I built new waterers with nipples.
You can DIY chicken feeders too.
Sit the waterer on a block and it will help it stay clean
hello i'm from indonesia🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩
Megoooood
You can just lift the end of the board instead of digging it out. Just use a pry bar on the end.
Put water up on blocks will keep it cleaner 👍👍👍
You guys can make the chicken feeder and water feed they are easy to built and i see people are making them
Thank you for share the video, Johnson family ^_^
Very nice in your every work guys, and very inspiring for us to strive our dreams also :)
Christ bless all of you always guys, and keepsm:)ng...
Halloo,im subscriber from indonesia
Set two concrete blocks side by side, and put the bigger hydrator on top of that.
Seth.. u are so handsome 😍😅
Nice work but please next time put caps on the vertical rebar and wear safety glasses. A tiny slip and fall on rebar can cause major impalement.
They look tasty.....
😋
The chicken 🐔
Indonesia 😊🙏👍👍😎😎
wow awesome familly, seth was growed up so fast, btw..where 's sarah mister???
Seth are handsome, and smart look out ladies
Put your hanging waterer on a block and add a cover like a metal trash can lid. on ALL YOUR PLASTIC chicken feeders and waterers.
Surabaya indonesia,hadir
