Self-healing Record Player • Mykesonic

Had some issues with this record player with wow & flutter and speed. Took it out this week to listen to some vinyl and the issues are gone. What gives? Did the record player self-heal?

I had the same issue with mine when I first got it. It played fine then the next day I turned it on and it would play slow and then it would play faster after a warm up period. I did order a couple new motors because these motors seem to have the same issue. I did remove the motor, cleaned the shaft (which had some stickiness to it) put a drop of oil in the bottom of the motor end cap and all has been working great so far.
