I'm going to get called a liar for this but I grew up in the around Cisco TX, Santa bandit is one of their favorite local historical legends. Cisco TX is also home of the first Hilton Hotel. It's now a cultural center, museum and theater. Its rather an insane story how Conrad Hilton bought it too. Ratliff choose Cisco because the bank was loaded with oil money.

    My mother visited the Lourve many years ago and said she was disappointed because the Mona Lisa painting is a lot smaller than she thought it would be. (It measures 30 inches tall x 21 inches wide or 77x53cm.)

    Girl talking about cutting the art out. A lot of that older stuff has the canvas built into the frame, so you literally have to cut it out to take it without taking the entire frame. Very common for art thieves.
