- This is Ihsan, he has been driving for 5 years abroad.He has done around 10 hours of driving with another driving instructor.
He wanted to do a mock test before booking his actual practical driving test.
He's seen other mock test videos and wanted to record to see how he does.

He drives really well on small roads but had a lot of trouble with dual carriageways and roundabouts

I really like how you pause and explain how to approach their driving faults differently. Its really helping me to improve my driving a lot faster. Like in this video, the mini roundabout, looking around the pillar, and 1st gear for tight corners! Such good advice!
This driving instructor is so good that she would remember every tiny mistake a student makes

The big message is pick the left lane where you are given a choice of lanes, turning or going straight ahead where that is the way you want to go.

You are one of the clearest and grounded instructors out there - I find your videos very informative. The only thing I do not enjoy so much are the big titles such as 'HORRIFIC.... Too many TH-camrs try to get attention that way and it is not necessary. :) Other than that - thank you!

Fair play to him for doing this mock test. You could tell he was very stressed when doing his manoevure.
I passed my test last month. Some people looked over confident but they made mistakes lots.I never ever passed my mock test but I did it in real test.Best of luck for everyone.

24:10 If you wanted to turn right into the road at the crossroads it is a no right turn crossroads, so cannot be done at the junction. However in London you can often see how to get round the problem, in this case by doubling back at the roundabout beyond thus accessing the A3002 for Hanwell with a left turn thereafter. A useful sign regarding this is on the left and many such signs help you negotiate, no right turns, one way and no entry zones in the capital.

Hi Nice to see your videos. Very informative. Even my driving instructor is very good aswell. I remember my very 1st lesson with her I was very nervous but she gave me lot of confidence with some very useful driving tips.

his low speed driving is excellent. Without visual review, only verbal review, it seems not easy to improve.
The best way to test your ABS is to go to an empty road and slam the brakes hard, The ABS warning light just checks if the electronics are OK, and not the full ABS braking system.

Hey yes but it’s an easy fix, you just need to stick to your lane
Don’t make any sudden changes and be aware of your surroundings
Also easy to crash and get hurt/killed. I see your point though
Thank you so much for the videos! I am 16 hours into my driving lessons and not once as my instructor mentioned using the mirrors. This is pretty worrying to say the least. I will be using them from now on. I feel like I’ve learnt loads from the three videos I have watched this far. I have my test on Thursday! 🤞🏻

I should change instructors if I were you. Use of mirrors is fundamental to safe driving, and if he/she hasn't drummed this into you after 16 hours, then that instructor is not doing the job properly.

i have my test two weeks today and i have just taken a new job that would be so much easier to commute with if i have my licence. i feel so stressed about it but watching some of these people makes me feel so much better because they have their tests booked for a few weeks and smash the curbs or whatever😬

Hi I’m an Amercian driver and always wondered this thing about driving in the UK? So when exiting a roundabout do you have to exit onto the left most lane? And not the right lane? Because in USA it doesn’t matter where you exit as long as you yield and you also don’t have to signal.
You should exit from the left lane yes
If there are two lanes leaving then you can be on the right
It all depends on the size of the roundabout/number of lanes leaving :)

Although he made those mistakes, his other aspects are pretty polished in a way. I respect him and others that do these videos as you’re putting it out there for everyone to see and it helps people learn as well. Ihsan seemed like a shy guy if I’m honest. I love that smile he has most of the time lol.

Yes that's true, but to make a right turn he should still have switched into the 3rd lane.
When it comes to big roundabouts you don't always see right arrows painted on approach as majority of the traffic goes ahead (on dual carriageways)
even if a particular lane goes right only you will usually see a straight arrow at the beginning and a right arrow as you enter the roundabout

So scary roundabout I just passed test but still scared about roundabout especially spiral.
The roundabouts will get easier with practice :) just be safe and stick to your lane.
I'm learning with other instructor he is good and they are many of them good but that lady instructor i think simple too good

Hey a signal is not necessary, your position should be closer to the side your parking. ( parallel park) The reverse lights are a signal to vehicles behind
You don’t need to indicate but can put it on to make it clear to others around you

26:35 Appreciate you gave clear directions to turn right, but aren’t the road markings sort of wrong? The two right lanes are just pointing straight, continues all the way down the road
Hey when it comes to big roundabouts they don’t put right arrows unless that lane only turns right. (As they don’t want traffic going anti-clockwise)
As this is the a4 Majority of the traffic just goes ahead 2nd exit

I think Ihsan was also confused and went over the paint of the roundabout, because the black Peugeot started to move. 8:02. But I understand the fault and it does not cancel his resposibility to do it the right way.
Seemed like he started to get flustered after the first mistake with the ambulance.

Problem with drivers are how to exactly identify the lane to where to be when its merging into single or suddenly into three etc, can you just make one video related to only lanes where suddenly one merges or two then splits into three etc

Hey a serious fault is where you've slowed down another vehicle but there's no immediate danger.
a dangerous fault is where the examiner would have had to take control to avoid a collision.

Hey yes he should keep both hands on the steering wheel until the car had stopped and then secure the car
He has a habit of putting the car into neutral as he stops.

There was a side car a few meters away from him. And you suddenly go and turn the steering wheel and tell him that you are good. You are not good at all for driving lessons.

What I have observed this guy has issue of understanding of hardcore accent the instructor is using, you can see at times he acts by his facial expressions that he doesn't understand what she is saying

Great video however the title seems quite rude and may knock the learners confident and embarrass him.
When I was learning my instructor would be rude and say I would fail and did bad mocks and it knocked my confidence.

It was just a catchy title. As he did make alot of mistakes he wasn’t aware they were mistakes
But he’s worked on these areas, will be doing another mock test soon.
This video has helped Ihsan immensely.
At the end of the day if she didn't put a title to draw people in then people wouldn't click the video.
The point of these channels is to draw people in to watch the video. Also frankly his driving was awful.
Man ! Even in the intro I already noticed how scared you were. Your heart must of been pounding.
Just remember, just because someone is an experienced driver doesn't always mean he is good. If he was a good driver he wouldn't even be in a learner car. And by the way, he should also wear a mask when he gets in a strangers car. Just saying.
As an instructor you know where the typical serious issues occur so you’re always prepared for the worse case scenario and only react when needed :) but yes these issues could have easily escalated 😅
