Love the video!! We enjoyed so much. Thank you so much for sharing!! We have been in St Johns 6 times…always wonder how St.Croix is and thinking is not that nice but I think yes it is!!
Hi Veronica! It is beautiful here but very cut off from the other islands. To me it's like the old Florida of the Caribbean- quiet and slow. We do miss Italy very much and will be returning soon!
One would think since Campy is an Italian brand that it would be highly represented in shops in Italy. Since you use it, what has been your impression or opinion in Italy? Have you being to a shop there yet or do you do all of your wrenching? I have been using Campy for 20+ years and do almost all of my own installations and tune ups. Few things I leave to shops like wheel building/truing, and anything above that. I will be staying with caliber brakes and mechanical shifters, so it simplifies a ton when you add language issues. Curious about your experience there. Aldo, have you guys hoked up with local groups there for rides? What has been you opinion with acceptance?
Hi dgasmd! We have not found a shop that can fix our groupset as of yet- we found a shop near Lecce that said they have experience with Campagnolo and plan on visiting there when we return to Italy. We have EPS and disc brakes so we should find someone that knows what they are doing because I don't want to touch it and mess it up:) We haven't hooked up with local riders but we do see a lot of people riding on weekends and holidays that have similar bikes- also mountain bikers too going from trail to trail connecting on the country roads. Everyone is super friendly and waves I'm sure you could just jump on a group ride and go from there!
@@salvesalento thanks for the reply. EPS is much simpler to set up and adjust than mechanical, but does require a couple of things you might wanna have as extras. Harder to troubleshoot on the rd, and even harder to find anyone that knows how to work on them. Lots of good videos to learn from on TH-cam though. Same for discs. It’s easy to learn, but does take patience

I didn't know that they drive on the opposite side of the road there.
Yes Vincent once you get used to it it makes sense except for the steering wheel being on the same side as the US!
