I had this too but my situation was different, i broke my key and i gotta hold the broken keys together and turn the ignition, so if your key isnt snapped in half then just replace the batteries in your key fob
Hey, Hope you doing well! I got holden Commodore 2006 ve omaga, and i got problem with that center screen which you got odometer reading, engine fault warning, I can't see any things from that screen juts light is on, but there is not reading in there, so can you tell me what to do to fix that!?
I just had this issue after the car was sitting in the shed for a year. Do you need to replace and program a new key? Or is it reprogramming the computer to reconnect to the key?
Hi Kevinrudd1851 You will find if you fit a new vehicle battery. (located in boot ) left side that it will be a simple process of reconfiguring keys to the vehicles theft deterrent module. any well equipped auto repair business is capable of such repairs. it would also be prudent to change key batteries. the should have a standing 3v anything less is no good. hope this was of assistance -Dan
I have a 2012 caprice. Had the same thing and it was a dead fob.
