Why you should watch Fear the Walking Dead (or at least season 1)

- Fear the walking dead has been quite a divisive show in fans and critics eyes alike. Ever since fear the walking dead season 1 premiered people have been questioning the show’s purpose and direction - and even more so recently with season 4. In this video however, I won’t discuss these issues - rather why every fan of post-apocalyptic stories should watch feart the walking dead or at least it’s first season.
Hey everyone! Taking a bit of a break from the last of us in today’s video. Instead we’re going to discuss one of my absolute favourite tv-series: Fear the walking dead. And my favourite season from it - fear the walking dead season 1 - and more importantly why you should watch it! in short - I discuss how fear the walking dead handles the fall of society. Most apocalypse universes just skip over the ending part and go straight to post-apocalypse or do It very quickly. Even the movies and other media that do focus on the end of the world often do it in an action packed and not really deep way. fear the walking dead season one on the other hand - does it very well, often evoking chilling feelings along the way. it focuses on the human element, the effects of a dying civilisation and not so much on the cool gunfights and explosions. Season one was a huge surprise for me. Mainly because everything happens gradually, zombies don’t show themselves a lot at the beginning, and the society lives its regular life, while dead people already walk among them, that the scariest part. People didn’t realize that those whom they shot were zombies. Seeing regular city life of that city, its people doing regular daily things, and knowing that there are corpses walking among them is the best thing in this show. I’ve never seen anything like that in any show, movie or a comic book, brilliant. Could definitely recommend season one as well.

Fear the walking dead is my all time favourite over even the flagship show.
Watching the city lights go out gave me a sick feeling cause the lights truly go out like that chunk by chunk they shut off. It’s even more unnerving when it’s a city that is as bright as LA it would be even more so if we watched a city like Las Vegas go down in the apocalypse
After watching through season 6 I busted out laughing when you were talking about people complaining that’s there’s no axtion
I'm currently rewatch the walking dead to get to the end game but I'm currently on season 7 of walking dead n I only watching an episode a day. So I don't get to season 11 and have to wait for the end of season 11. So now I'm just looking up to see if the fear Is worth watching

I watched the FTWD just because of MORGAN rest characters are very much expression less and not even make feel like they are trying to connect with the audience. Sorry but only watch season 1 rest is of no use.
