Gathering storm | The Last of Us Part II Episode 11

- In this episode 11 of my the last of us part II playthrough, using the information she gathered at the WLF hospital - Ellie is going through the gathering storm toward the aquarium where she hopes to find Abby. But as the title suggests - the storm certainly makes things more difficult. The Last of Us Part II might not have the same variety in locations and seasons - but the weather system with these storms sure is impressive!
Hey everyone! yeah, these sections of the descriptions are kinda unnecessary but I do them anyways. So yeah in this episode of my the last of us part II walkthrough we're traveling through the flooded streets of Seattle on a boat during a progressively worsening storm, which was super intense!

I don't get why people think that the Mel is pregnant thing is suppose to make you feel bad for killing her.
It's not about Mel dying it's about the fact that Ellie killed an unborn child. Yes she does kill hundreds of people but killing a fucking baby is just a tad bit different lmao.
Don't get me wrong tho, the fact they introduce characters just to kill them off is one of the worst things about this game, it has major pacing issues...
I think the game weight different characters very different,sure there's a lot of side characters died along the process,but the main focus is on Ellie's relationship with Joel,with Dina,Abby's relationship with Owen,and then with lev.they are the story,not others.
@@BIP101 if you have no problem with movie introduce new characters and kill them in one hour,or let's say Tess and Sam,Henrys'death in part one.why now
The really pacing problem for me is the infected fights during both of the day2
@@Vincevans168 I agree that the game is good, hell IMO maybe even game of the year.
But it still has some major pacing issues, and incorrect usage of characters like Owen, Jesse etc...
They die before you can even start caring for them.

Man,I aslo didn't really feel much for Abby(they death just number for me) when I play till this part.But I understand Abby's motive completely when I finish her chapters.besides,Abby part of the game have most of the lore to explore.
In the end,we do not make the decisions for the characters,but they are making decisions for themselves base on they knowledge and emotion.we just the observer.
Oh I understand Abby’s motives alright. I’m just incapable of feeling empathetic to her or her friends’ cause. With how much part I means to me I was never going to budge loyalty wise, no matter how evil they tried to portray Ellie, Joel or Tommy. They’re well written characters, but the existence of part I makes the whole thing impossible for me
TheiPadCat that’s kinda the point. The game is testing you capability of feeling empathy twords someone you hate, and in a way not being able to do this is you losing the games real goal. I’m not saying that the story is a masterpiece or anything, just that all the hate that it’s getting is unfair. If you want to see a good reference from what I’m talking about watch causmanoughts variety hour’s review on the game. It outlines its true flaws and provides an interesting view on the game.
@@neige8878 i don't hate neither of them they both have their motives, but is probably because I started to play 1 and eventually 2 now.
Loving your playthrough of the game, but why aren't you using molotovs??? lol i used it all the damn time in all my playthroughs and i don't recall you using it even once! lol
I just find it super interesting how differently we play the offense. You use bullets constantly and i used the items constantly.
"YoU KiLlED My FrIEnds!!" seconds after she shot Jesse (not to mention pretty much killing ellies dad in front of her), the writing in this game really is stupid sometimes
Revenge is Bad for Ellie but not for Abby!
i do think she specifically meant Owen and Mel since she was basically still in love with Owen. She wouldn't have known that Jordan, Nora, and others were killed.
But i mean, this is a story about non-stop revenge, so no, the writing is not stupid.
I don't remember Bill dying🤔
He was talking about the original outline of the story. i guess everyone died, including tommy, bill, and tess' brother. He was saying how he didn't like how everyone died and he's glad they changed it to what it became in the end (me too). He did a series on his channel called "Could've been very different" where he played out the original storyline. Tess even became the villian after joel killed her brother even though they were all allies.
