After installing the light, it initially turned on and off properly, but at some point, it switched to standby mode and now won’t turn off. What should I do?
I have a light bar on my JK and it's one of the best things I've ever bought for my Jeep. I hard wired it in so it acts just as any other light that turns off and on with the doors opening and closing. Simple to disconnect when taking the top off. Its bright as can be and works beautifully. Jeep should add this from the factory
This is really a very affordable function over flare modification for the Jeep JL Wrangler. Not to mention, it amazingly includes a handy remote control. Nice video.
It goes well on the JK but the conflict for me was whether to put it on the glass or on the plastic as it changes the direction of light slightly. Mine was this strip but wish I had bought the bar one with the diffuser for more money. Pros and cons with everything.
Yes, it has a plug that will disconnect when you remove your hardtop. I would recommend the Brawlee light. You can get from Amazon and it’s the same thing basically. I’ve installed several of these lights. Super easy and work great
This is the same made in china kit that sells on Amazon for $30... And that's not a resistor. That's the RF module for the remote. The light strip itself probably runs off 12v.

I wish that uou could have turned it on, in a dark place, to see how strong or weak the light is. But thanks for the vid.😊
All black wires, which are clean...aaaand just add in a white resistor to conflict with the whole setup. Ha
The light to standby mode and doesn’t turn off. What should I do?
does this have an amber color setting ? or only white
Only white! -Zach
Is there any reason this WOULD’NT work just fine on a JK?
