- Not a normal sketchbook this time, this thing was more of a warding ritual in preparation for my next project. the imagery was pulled from all over the place, mostly studies from various topics (not entirely my originial artwork). It is a prelude to the Necronomicon Diaries project. I will be illustrating my own version of the fictional book, I will be doing episodes chapter by chapter till its completion with completely original illustrations and the book will be the first and possibly only book I put up for sale, If you don't hear back from me, then you probably can guess why. Also I am now on instagram under the handle craftnanderthal, there you can find more of my crafting progress.

Incredible work and art, I am absolutely speechless. Somehow I'm getting quite demotivated with this level of artistic skill. I've recently started drawing, with a sketchbook and everything, of course. As a beginner, it's slow going and this kind of sketchbook will probably take me a long time. Still, this is true art and deserves much more than just a few views. You have to become famous somehow, there's no other way, everyone needs to see this.

Dude I’m loving your art. Just had a question on what type of pens, paints, or oil were used for black sketchbooks? I’m wondering what you need to use to even make the color stand out if what I mean. Is it paint or chalk colors ? Maybe oiled color pencils ?

Me neither… the pages are so black/deep that my vote is on it being Black Paper. But if he coated each one independently i’m curious what he used for that method… looks great either way but i’m curious!
